The aim of the paper is to present the methodology and results of some empirical research of the assessment of well-being at local level in context of regional development. To achieve the aim, such qualitative and quantitative methods of research as comparing, grouping, graphical analysis and focus group methods were be used. During rapid deceleration of the body, tendons buffer part of the elongation of the muscle–tendon unit (MTU), enabling safe energy dissipation via eccentric muscle contraction. Yet, the influence of changes in tendon stiffness within the physiological range upon these lengthening contractions is unknown. We try to show that up to now scholars (following Westphal) have attributed too many parts of the ps.-plutarcheo tract "De musica" to Eraclide Pontico; the unknown author drew from the latter only what he says he read in Sicyon's inscription.

Mākslīgais intelekts (MI) paver plašas iespējas Covid-19 infekcijas izraisīto plaušu bojājumu diagnostikā, kas var uzlabot un atvieglojot radiologa darbu veicinot gan izmeklējuma specifitātes, gan sensitivitātes izvērtēšanas iespējas. Šī pētījuma galvenais mērķis bija salīdzināt MI un radiologa atradnes precizitāti Covid-19 radītā plaušu bojājuma izvērtēšanā un noteikt interpretācijas ierobežojumus un priekšrocības klīniskā kontekstā.
