Background Sports club participation begins to decrease in adolescence. There is a lack of knowledge, how sports club participation changes from adolescence to early adulthood in Finland, and how goal orientation influences on it. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine if goal orientation is associated to changes in sports club participation during afore mentioned critical years. A research and development (R&D) approach has been applied to video telephony (VT) in northern Finland since 1994 by broad consortia. The focus has been on the considerable involvement of ergonomics within the engineering and implementation of VT. This multidisciplinary participatory ergonomic R&D approach (PERDA) is described briefly, in general and through two cases. The user-centeredness should be discernible in this sociotechnical systemic entity. A consortium—comprising mainly manufacturers, individual and organizational users of technological products, and R&D organizations—serves as a natural context for product development. The aim of this paper is to describe how consumers experience transmedia devices. Thanks to transmedia major components (narrative universe; platforms and rabbit holes; interactivity; and temporality), once it adheres to it, the user of a transmedia devices lives an experience characterized by participation, immersion and commitment, and, at the end, it leads him to be attached to the object of narration. These results guide to propose a model which emphasizes the central place of narrative transportation in the context of fictional universes presented via transmedia strategy.

Resumen también en inglés Este trabajo tiene como objetivo estudiar la capacidad que tienen las dimensiones de calidad de servicio, en cuanto a los tangibles, a la hora de predecir la satisfacción de los clientes. Para ello, se controlaron estadísticamente los efectos de la calidad de servicio de la interacción social entre empleado y cliente, tanto funcional como relacional. Se realizó un estudio de campo con la participación de 556 usuarios de un centro deportivo. Sokerilla makeutettujen juomien kulutus on yhteydessä ylipainoon, liikalihavuuteen ja niihin liittyviin sairauksiin, kuten tyypin 2 diabetekseen. Sokerillisten juomien valmisteveroa pidetään tehokkaana keinona vähentää kulutusta ja parantaa väestön terveyttä. Koska virvoitusjuomien kulutukseen liittyy potentiaalisia markkinahäiriöitä, niiden verotuksella on mahdollista parantaa yhteiskunnallista kokonaishyvinvointia. Tammikuussa 2014 Suomi kaksinkertaisti virvoitusjuomien valmisteveron sokerillisten juomien osalta 0,11 eurosta 0,22 euroon litralta.
