""The ARGO-YBJ experiment at YangBaJing in Tibet (4300m a.s.l.) has been taking data with its full layout since October 2007. Here we present a few significant results obtained in gamma-ray astronomy and cosmic-ray physics. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of gamma-ray emission from point-like sources (Crab Nebula, MRK 421), on the preliminary limit on the antiproton\\\/proton flux ratio, on the large-scale cosmic-ray anisotropy and on the proton-air cross-section. The performance of the detector is also discussed, and the perspectives of the experiment are outlined.""

Social embeddedness, defined as the interaction of economic activities and social behavior, is used in this study as a conceptual tool to describe the growing phenomenon of food community networks (FCNs). The aim in this paper was to map the system of relations which the FCNs develop both inside and outside the network and, from the number of relations, it was inferred the influence of each FCN upon the formation of new socially embedded economic realities. Statīni, kā seruma lipīdus reducējoši līdzekļi, spēj mazināt koronāro un cerebrovaskulāro slimību progresiju. Statīni, inhibējot HMG-CoA reduktāzi, samazina holesterīna un arī poliprenolu līmeni, kas varētu veicināt muskuļu sāpju, miopātijas un rabdomiolīzes attīstību. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt no egļu skujām izdalīto poliprenolu, atorvastatīna, šo vielu kombinācijas efektus dažādos ar motoro funkciju analizējošos farmakoloģiskos testos. Darba rezultāti rāda, ka satvēriena spēka un trakcijas testā atorvastatīns 80 mg/kg samazināja žurku muskuļu spēku. Twenty-four derivatives structurally related to honokiol have been synthesized and biologically evaluated. IC50 values were determined towards the HT-29, MCF-7 and HEK-293 cell lines. Some of these derivatives exhibited comparable or lower IC50 values than honokiol towards the HT-29 and MCF-7 cell lines or else higher selectivity indexes than the natural product. Twelve selected derivatives were evaluated for their ability to inhibit the expression of the VEGFA, hTERT and c-Myc genes and also to inhibit the production of total c-Myc protein and the secretion of the VEGF protein. In offline settings, authentic behavior has frequently been linked to increased well-being. Social network sites (SNSs) provide a new venue for authenticity, yet the effects of online authenticity are largely unknown. The present study investigated the reciprocal effects of authenticity on SNSs and the psychological well-being of SNS users in a two-wave longitudinal study (N=374). The results demonstrate that online authenticity had a positive longitudinal effect on three indicators of subjective well-being. Measured and Modeled Residue Dynamics of Famoxadone and Oxathiapiprolin in Tomato Fields

A reliable analytical method for the simultaneous determination of famoxadone and oxathiapiprolin dissipation kinetics as well as the metabolites of oxathiapiprolin (IN-E8S72 and IN-WR791) in tomato and soil was developed. We studied the dissipation of famoxadone and oxathiapiprolin in tomatoes grown using different kinetic curves in the area of Beijing in 2015 and 2016. Our results show that the most suitable model for two fungicides in 2015 and 2016 was first-order kinetic and second-order kinetic with the half-lives of 3.4 to 5.2 and 2.4 to 3.0 days, respectively. Intellectual property management between buyer-supplier in the crowdsourcing context

In this paper we investigate the antecedents of buyers’ decisions related to the management of the IPR generated by the suppliers in crowdsourcing contests. Leveraging on Property Rights Theory and interview data, we examine how contest’ attributes affect two buyers’ decisions about (1) whether to define an IPR arrangement ex-ante or negotiating it ex-post with the winning supplier; (2) the choice between strong or weak ownership levels of the IPR arrangement. To test the developed hypotheses, we build a dataset of 819 contests broadcasted on InnoCentive (from 2010 to 2016). Our findings contribute to both the operations management and the crowdsourcing literatures.

Sebbene la questione attenga all’applicazione dell’art. 102 del TFUE, la Corte ha eluso la fondamentale questione della sussistenza dei presupposti per tale applicazione.
