Bakalaura darba “Sociāli svarīgu tēmu reprezentācija situāciju komēdiju žanra seriālā “Draugi”” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā ir reprezentētas sociāli svarīgas tēmas situāciju komēdiju žanra seriālā “Draugi” un kā auditorija rezonē ar šo seriālu un tajā iekļautajām tēmām. Lai to paveiktu, tika izmantota naratīva analīze. Tika izmantota arī fokusa grupu diskusija, kur tika apspriestas tās dalībnieku redzējums un sajūtas par šīm tēmām seriālā. The Greenland shark Somniosus microcephalus—Hemoglobins and ligand-binding properties

A large amount of data is currently available on the adaptive mechanisms of polar bony fish hemoglobins, but structural information on those of cartilaginous species is scarce. This study presents the first characterisation of the hemoglobin system of one of the longest-living vertebrate species (392 +/- 120 years), the Arctic shark Somniosus microcephalus. Three major hemoglobins are found in its red blood cells and are made of two copies of the same a globin combined with two copies of three very similar beta subunits. The three hemoglobins show very similar oxygenation and carbonylation properties, which are unaffected by urea, a very important compound in marine elasmobranch physiology.…

Present-day museums are not mere passive institutions for the preservation of a society's cultural heritage. They have become instead learning environments, research centres and even tourist attractions. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādas iespējas ir, izmantojot .NET ietvara C# programmēšanas valodu un komponenti LINQ, izveidot un pilnveidot modelēšanas rīkus. Maģistra darba ietvaros mērķis ir iepazīties C#/LINQ iespējām, ar metamodeļu aprakstu un rīku OWLGrEd, lai varētu papildināt tā funkcionalitāti. Darbā tiek izpētītas C#/LINQ iespējas, modeļu repozitoriji, kā arī OWLGrEd funkcionalitāte un izmantotās tehnoloģijas (TDA, Lua, LPeg.RE, lQuery). Darba ietvaros tiek veikti praktiski pētījumi, kā ar C#/LINQ, izmantojot repozitoriju piekļuves API, var pieslēgties mii_rep modeļu repozitorijam.
