Tekstien ymmärtäminen ja lukemissujuvuus ovat elintärkeitä taitoja nyky-maailmassa ja sujuva lukeminen myös helpottaa myös vaikeampiselkoisten tekstien luke-mista. Acid-catalyzed mechanocatalytic pretreatment to improve sugar release from birch sawdust : Structural and chemical aspects

This study examined acid-catalyzed mechanocatalytic pretreatment of birch sawdust without a separate impregnation step. Catalyst amount and pretreatment time were the key variables. Pretreated material was mixed with water for hydrolysis (100 °C, 60 min). The efficient release of total reducing sugars from birch sawdust is significant to the path towards biofuels and biochemicals. Based on the results, the structure and surface of birch sawdust changed as a function of mechanocatalytic pretreatment. AbstractRock pools are ephemeral freshwater habitats characterized by their small size, well-defined boundaries, and periodic desiccation, making them ideal model systems to answer numerous ecological questions. Although there are numerous studies on rock pool fauna around the world, tardigrades have only rarely been recorded. We conducted the first tardigrade-focused study on rock pools by quantitatively extracting and classifying them from rock pools in the Italian Apennines. Forest management might be threatened by declining health status of oaks in the transition zone between oak and beech forests, where drought is the most limiting factor. The aim of the presented paper is to assess the influence of selected climatic characteristics on the radial growth of oak trees with different stem diameter status in the beech-oak and oak-beech forest altitudinal zones within the forest growth area of Poľana Mt. and Zvolen Basin (Slovakia). Empīriskās ticamības metode ietver maksimizācijas problēmu, kurai var nebūt atrisinā- jums. Šajā darbā ir aplūkotas vairākas neparametriskas metodes, tostarp koriģētā empī- riskās ticamības funkcija neatkarīgiem vienādi sadalītiem datiem un koriģētā blokveida empīriskās ticamības funkcija vāji atkarīgiem datiem neeksistējoša atrisinājuma problēmas klātbūtnē vienai un divām izlasēm. Tika veiktas simulācijas, lai ar minētajām metodēm konstruētu un analizētu ticamības intervālu pārklājumu precizitāti izlases vidējai vērtībai un kvantilēm.

Kadm (Cd) jest metalem ciężkim, który w wyniku działań człowieka stał się głównym zanieczyszczeniem środowiska. Charakteryzuje się wysoką toksycznością dla wszystkich organizmów żywych. Symptomem toksyczności kadmu dla roślin są przede wszystkim zmiany morfologiczne, ograniczenie procesów fotosyntezy oraz stres oksydacyjny. Efekt zwiększenia odporności na stres można uzyskać, stosując różne związki egzogenne. Do takich związków należy między innymi kwas salicylowy (SA). Information and communication technologies (ICTs), and hence, the adoption of e-government has contributed to the adoption and dissemination of government transparency in a usable and accessible way. In this chapter, we study the transparency, accessibility and usability of websites of Spanish RGs.
