Intravascular ultrasound has been used for >20 years to guide percutaneous coronary intervention in different subsets of coronary lesions. During the last decade, the interest in percutaneous coronary intervention for chronic total occlusion (CTO) has increased dramatically, leading to high success rates. Failure of guidewire crossing is the most common reason for failed CTO attempts. Certain angiographic features, such as blunt proximal CTO cap, tortuosity, heavy calcification, and lack of visibility of path in the distal vessel, increase procedural difficulty. Background: The treatment of spontaneous spinal epidural hematomas (SSEHs), depending on the lesion size and myeloradicular involvement, can be surgical or conservative. Here, we present a 55-year-old patient who sustained a SSEH several months following a systemic SARS-CoV-2 infection. Case Description: A 55-year-old immunocompromised female (i.e., history 17 years ago of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, nodular sclerosis variant) recently developed a SARS-CoV-2 infection treated with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents. Assessing reading and online research comprehension: Do difficulties in attention and executive function matter?

This study evaluated the relation between sixth graders' (N = 426) teacher-rated difficulties in attention and executive function (EF) and their comprehension skills. Reading comprehension was assessed with a multiple-choice task and online research and comprehension (ORC) with a problem-solving task. The analyses were controlled for gender, reading fluency and nonverbal reasoning. To investigate differences in students' performance between the tasks, comprehension skills in the multiple-choice task were also controlled for in the ORC task. Online shopping addiction can be defined as an Internet-based behavioural addiction which may lead to economic problems. Even though shopping is increasingly common through mobile devices, the effects of smartphone use on online shopping addiction are underexamined. Following a survey of 1000 18 to 29-year-olds in Finland, we examined young adults' online shopping addiction and economic problems from the perspective of self-regulation and problems in regulating smartphone use.
