Convective phenomena in large melts including magnetic fields

The set of characteristic parameters which describe modern large industrial CZ silicon single crystal growth systems is introduced. The main melt flow driving mechanisms are considered, and the characteristic density values of various in the melt acting forces are estimated. The analysis is illustrated with examples of numerical simulation and comparisons with experiments.

Este trabajo indaga en el eco plausible que el asalto a la judería de Valencia en 1391 pudo hallar en la cultura figurativa del retablo de la Santa Cruz del Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia, que presenta vínculos en apariencia circunstanciales pero también significativos con la experiencia de la conversión, la violencia con que se había impuesto y su legitimación como expresión de la justicia divina. Esta obra se vinculan a un contexto temporal y topográfico muy preciso que no cabe desdeñar, sino reconsiderar a la luz de aquellos hechos y del desgarro que produjeron entre cristianos viejos y conversos. Enhancement of the Lifetime of Metastable States in Er-Doped Si Nanocrystals by External Colored Noise

The changes in the lifetime of a metastable energy level in Er-doped Si nanocrystals in the presence of an external source of colored noise are analyzed for different values of noise intensity and correlation time. Exciton dynamics is simulated by a set of phenomenological rate equations which take into account all the possible phenomena inherent in the energy states of Si nanocrystals and Er^{3+} ions in the host material of Si oxide. Electronic deexcitation is studied by examining the decay of the initial population of the Er atoms in the first excitation level 4I_{13/2} through fluorescence and cooperative energy transfer upconversion. Il testo prende in esame le nuove relazioni di coppia, le nuove forme familiari e le modalità inedite di genitorialità. L'analisi è condotta secondo lo stile razionale della fenomenologia, riflettendo sull'esser-coppia della coppia, il divenir-famiglia della coppia (segnato dal principio di generosità), l'esser-famiglia della famiglia. La proposta complessiva è d'intendere la famiglia come esistenziale, possibilità aperta di una vera e propria "carriera morale", segnata da forme di relazionalità riconoscente. Inoltre, viene difeso il diritto di ogni forma familiare alla tutela educativa.

We have news of that from 1363, and along the following centuries, but the most interesting is the way the procession is represented by two series of drawings one from 1747, and the other from 1866. Abstract The feasibility of a double immunoassay of haptens by the nonisotopic carbonyl metalloimmunoassay (CMIA) method is demonstrated. Three different pairings of antiepileptic medications from the groups carbamazepine, diphenylhydantoin, and phenobarbital (for each of which a mono-CMIA is already available) were assayed by double CMIA. The assay method employs as tracers metal–carbonyl complexes that give very strong signals in the range of 1850–2200 cm −1 in the infrared spectrum, permitting quantitative analysis by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. Numerical Simulation of Thermal Effects in Electric Circuits via Energy Transport equations

In this work we present the coupling of stationary energy-transport (ET) equations with Modified Nodal Analysis (MNA)-equations to model electric circuits containing semiconductor devices. The one-dimensional ET-equations are discretised in space by an exponential fitting mixed hybrid finite element approach to ensure current continuity and positivity of charge carriers. The discretised ET-equations are coupled to MNA-equations and the resulting system is solved with backwarddifference formulas.
