Over recent years, internet TV series have grown in popularity to become one of the audiovisual products with the highest audiences worldwide. The Covid crisis, with limitations on movement, has further increased their success during 2020-21. English is by far the most common language for such productions, which are typically offered to non-anglophone viewers in translated format, with either subtitles or dubbing. Production and extraction of astaxanthin from Phaffia rhodozyma and its biological effect on alcohol-induced renal hypoxia in Carassius auratus

The effect of astaxanthin (3,3′-dihydroxy-s-carotene-4,4′-dione) on alcohol-induced morphological changes in Carassius auratus, as an experimental model, was determined. The yeast Phaffia rhodozyma was used as a source of astaxanthin. The animals were divided into three groups for 30 days: one group was treated with ethanol at a dose of 1.5% mixed in water, the second one with EtOH 1.5% and food enriched with astaxanthin from P. rhodozyma, and the third was a control group. Tässä työssä vertaillaan Itävallan ja Saksan kielivarieteetteja myötäesiintymisen tasolla. Saksan kielen varieteettien välisiä eroja on tutkittu mm. morfologian, fonologian ja pragmatiikan tasoilla, mutta vakiintuneet sanaliitot kuuluvat varieteettilingvistiikan toistaiseksi vain vähän tutkittuun osa-alueeseen. Variaatiota paikannettiin korpusanalyysin avulla. Tutkimusmateriaali koostui sanomalehtiteksteistä vuosilta 1991–2000 ja 2007–2010. Tutkimuksen aiheena ovat erilaiset sanonnat sekä niiden kääntäminen. Teoriaosuudessa erittelemme ominaisuuksia sekä kriteerejä, joiden perusteella sanontoja voidaan tunnistaa ja luokitella. Näistä erilaisista luokista esittelemme tutkimuksemme kannalta tärkeimmät, jotka ovat; idiomi, idiomaattinen ilmaus sekä kollokaatio. Lisäksi tutustumme Pedro Mogorrón Huertan (2008) esittämiin erilaisiin käännösstrategioihin, joita sanontojen kääntämisessä voidaan hyödyntää. Some issues concerning the compilation and processing of the corpus data are discussed and the main sources added to the Corpus during the four-year project are described: the 16th c.
