Ello pone de manifiesto la pluralidad de derechos que se interrelacionan entre sí y que hacen necesario valorar, caso por caso, cuál de todos ellos es el que debe prevalecer en cada ocasión cuando se entienda que alguno de ellos pueda haber sido vulnerado. La generalización de la educación y el aumento de las investigaciones sobre la mejora de la enseñanza-aprendizaje de las ciencias deberían de haber ido acompañadas de una mayor alfabetización científica de la sociedad. El trabajo que ahora presentamos va a mostrar que no sólo no es así, sino que hay una huída progresiva de los estudios de ciencias a nivel general y de los de Física y Química en particular. En este trabajo nos centraremos en plantear como problema la existencia de un desinterés en el estudio de las ciencias en la enseñanza obligatoria y a intentar buscar sus causas y los posibles aspectos en los que hay que trabajar para que esto no suceda.
A GEM-TPC in twin configuration for the Super-FRS tracking of heavy ions at FAIR

The GEM-TPC [1] described herein will be part of the standard beam-diagnostics equipment of the Super-FRS [2] . This chamber will provide tracking information for particle identification at rates up to 1 MHz on an event-by-event basis. The key requirements of operation for these chambers are: close to 100% tracking efficiency under conditions of high counting rate, spatial resolution below 1 mm and a superb large dynamic range covering projectiles from Z=1 up to Z=92. The current prototype consists of two GEM-TPCs inside a single vessel, which are operating independently and have electrical drift fields in opposite directions.
