Housing market shocks in italy: A GVAR approach

Abstract In this paper, we use a Global Vector Autoregression (GVAR) model to assess the spatio-temporal mechanism of house price spillovers, also known as “ripple effect”, among 93 Italian provincial housing markets, over the period 2004 − 2016 . In order to better capture the local housing market dynamics, we use data not only on house prices but also on transaction volumes. In particular, we focus on estimating, to what extent, exogenous shocks, interpreted as negative housing demand shocks, arising from 10 Italian regional capitals, impact on their house prices and sales and how these shocks spill over to neighbours housing markets. Abstract In this study, we determined the most representative acoustical parameters for halls intended for verbal or music audition. Our study was carried out in nine halls of different shapes and designed for different uses. We measured the impulse response at a great number of points (many more than the minimum required by the ISO 3382 norm). From a physical viewpoint, all halls are enclosed three-dimensional areas. We propose to improve the accuracy of FIR filters for computing convolution transforms for smooth non-bandlimited (NBL) signals by designing filters by the identification method with using a pair of bandlimited portions of the chosen NBL input and output signals related with each other by the given transform. A design example of type IV linear phase differentiator is presented, where filter coefficients are calculated from the bandlimited portions of the Cauchy pulse and its derivative. What counts here as a system are the neuronal networks between retina and recording site. A basic operation of spectr is filterin. In this introductory chapter, processing of one- and two-dimensional signals by digital filters and filter banks is outlined. A polyphase implementation of multirate filtering is described. The application of filtering with IIR filters, whose transfer functions are rational, is described. Bases and frames in the signals’ space that are generated by perfect reconstruction filter banks are discussed. The Butterworth filters, which are used in further constructions, are introduced.
Real filter based on Mellin radial harmonics for scale-invariant pattern recognition.

Several theoretical and experimental studies are developed in order to simplify the construction of filters based on Mellin radial harmonics (MRH) for scale-invariant pattern recognition. A real filter based on MRH is designed. The impulse response of the filter is a hermitic function, obtained by a suitable modification of a MRH component. This real filter has the same scale invariance as the conventional complex MRH filters, with the main advantage of its simplicity. Both computer simulations and optical experiments are presented.
