INTRODUCTION: Conventional adrenalectomy still plays an important role, even in the era of minimally invasive endocrine surgery. It was the aim of our study to analyse the indications for conventional adrenalectomy in our own patients since the introduction of the minimally invasive technique in the year 1994 - laparoscopically and retroperitoneoscopically. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Between January 1994 and September 2006, a total of 412 adrenalectomies were performed in 380 patients. <i>Background:</i> The management of incidentalomas with tumor size 3 cm and larger is still under controversial discussion. <i>Study Design:</i> Clinical charts of 65 patients who underwent adrenalectomy for an incidentaloma were reviewed. <i>Results:</i> Sixty-five patients were operated. There were 28 men and 37 women with a median age of 56.9 years. Median size of all resected lesions was 4.1 cm. Outcome of radical prostatectomy for incidental carcinoma of the prostate

OBJECTIVE To evaluate a contemporary series of patients with incidental prostate cancer detected by transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and undergoing radical prostatectomy (RP). PATIENTS AND METHODS Between 1998 and 2004, 1931 patients had TURP for obstructive voiding symptoms and suspected BPH. Incidental prostate cancer was found in 104 (5.4%); 26 of these patients had a RP. The pathological staging and treatment of these patients were reviewed retrospectively and the follow-up results obtained. The 16th-century pastoral plays in Dubrovnik (Ragusa), like the Italian ones which inspired them, are marked by the strong presence of sounds, songs and choruses to increase the fantastical and sentimental emphasis of the performances. Their evolution, from Dzore Drzic eclogues to the pastorals of Antun Sasin, and through Mauro Vetranovic's "Orfeo", is characterized by the acquisition of a Petrarchian language in the Croatian pieces of Nikola Naljeskovic.
