Female-driven social entrepreneurship in service business

AbstractThe United Nations has stated that to meet the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, analysis of the development and impact of women entrepreneurship is needed. Based on data from the Web of Science, an initial analysis of research on both women entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship was performed. Although the first published article date back to 2004, it was not until 2014 when scholars began to study women social entrepreneurship more systematically. This special issue covers these two areas in conjunction, with an added emphasis on service business.

La chiusura delle scuole ha provocato un incremento significativo della povertà educativa ha sollecitato l’opportunità di progettare interventi integrati di service learning per favorire il recupero e il potenziamento dei minori in difficoltà. 869 studenti del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Scienze della Formazione Primaria dell’Università degli Studi di Palermo, sono stati coinvolti nella progettazione e nella realizzazione di percorsi didattici mirati, rivolti agli alunni “fragili” di 33 scuole palermitane. Complessivamente sono state erogate 60.000 ore in DAD di attività di recupero e di potenziamento dell’apprendimento di alunni della scuola primaria di Palermo. Le attività didattiche sf…

Necesidades y propuestas en la intervención social con mujeres sin hogar

El principal objetivo de la presente investigación consiste en reflexionar sobre posibles necesidades y buenas prácticas en la intervención social con mujeres en situación de sinhogarismo. Con esta finalidad se han realizado historias de vida a mujeres que se encuentran en dicha situación. También se han elaborado entrevistas a profesionales que trabajan actualmente con mujeres sin hogar. Los resultados obtenidos muestran la necesidad de la aplicación de la perspectiva de género en las intervenciones con sinhogarismo, puesto que las mujeres presentan características y sucesos vitales diferentes a los de los hombres sin hogar. This study investigates social exclusion from peer interaction and relationships among children in one Finnish daycare center. Social exclusion is a multifaceted phenomenon that can be encountered as a result of for instance peer exclusion or social withdrawal. Persistent social exclusion can have severe negative consequences. However, social exclusion is also an inevitable part of social life. This study discusses the multiplicity of this phenomenon in one daycare center. This study is a micro-ethnography. I wrote notes and video-recorded the everyday life of two child groups for 12 days.
