QCD resummation effects in forward $J/\psi$ and very backward jet inclusive production at the LHC

We propose and study the inclusive production of a forward $J/\psi$ and a very backward jet at the LHC as an observable to reveal high-energy resummation effects \`a la BFKL. Our different predictions are based on the various existing mechanisms to describe the production of the $J/\psi$, namely, NRQCD singlet and octet contributions, and the color evaporation model.

Diplomdarba pētījums tika veikts, lai labāk izprastu iekļaujošās izglītības idejas praktisko pielietojumu situācijās, kad angļu valodas skolotājam jāstrādā arī ar skolēniem, kuriem ir mācīšanās traucējumu pazīmes. Diplomdarba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādi valodas mācīšanās paņēmieni var palīdzēt sākumskolas skolēniem ar dažādiem mācīšanās traucējumiem angļu valodas mācīšanās veicināšanai. Par pētījuma metodi tika izvēlēts gadījuma pētījums. Respondentu izlasē tika iekļauti 15 angļu valodas skolotāji no dažādām vispārizglītojošajām skolām un 14 sākumskolas posma skolēni vecumā no 7 līdz 9 gadiem vienā no Rīgas privātajām vidusskolām. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wspólnych dla pragmatyzmu i feminizmu obszarów zainteresowań oraz idei. Zadanie to zostaje zrealizowane w dwóch etapach. Po pierwsze, badanie historycznych korzeni pragmatyzmu służy rzuceniu światła na powiązania istniejące pomiędzy wczesnopragmatystycznymi ideami a ideałami ruchu feministycznego. Na tym etapie przedmiotem analizy są koncepcje: C.S. Peirce’a, W. Jamesa, J. Deweya, J. Addams i R. Rorty’ego. Inklusiivinen opetus on yleistymässä suomalaisissa kouluissa myös vieraan kielen tunneilla. Oppilaiden hyvin erilaiset taitotasot luovat opettajalle haasteen toteuttaa kaikille sopivaa opetusta samassa tilassa. Lisäksi erilaiset oppimisvaikeudet tulisi ottaa huomioon opetusta suunniteltaessa ja toteuttaessa. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää laadullisen kyselytutkimuksen avulla suomalaisten vieraan kielen opettajien käyttämiä sekä tehokkaaksi kokemia opetusmenetelmiä. First measurement of the Sivers asymmetry for gluons using SIDIS data

The Sivers function describes the correlation between the transverse spin of a nucleon and the transverse motion of its partons. It was extracted from measurements of the azimuthal asymmetry of hadrons produced in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering of leptons off transversely polarised nucleon targets, and it turned out to be non-zero for quarks. In this letter the evaluation of the Sivers asymmetry for gluons in the same process is presented. The analysis method is based on a Monte Carlo simulation that includes three hard processes: photon-gluon fusion, QCD Compton scattering and leading-order virtual-photon absorption process.
