ProcessWiki: A Contribution for Bridging the Last Mile Problem in Automotive Retail
2012
In many real-world business process management (BPM) installments, the benefit of BPM is diminished by an insufficient implementation of the to-be business processes. One of the key reasons for this problem is the complexity of classical process modeling representations that exceed the BPM knowledge of many target groups.
Handling Evolving Data Warehouse Requirements
2015
A data warehouse is a dynamic environment and its business requirements tend to evolve over time, therefore, it is necessary not only to handle changes in data warehouse data, but also to adjust a data warehouse schema in accordance with changes in requirements. In this paper, we propose an approach to propagate modified data warehouse requirements in data warehouse schemata. The approach supports versions of data warehouse schemata and employs the requirements formalization metamodel and multiversion data warehouse metamodel to identify necessary changes in a data warehouse.

2016
The effect of revenue models on app performance depends on the app store. The effect of in-app purchase on app performance depends on the app store.Paid, freemium and in-purchase models are shown to be effective in app store.Freemium and in-app purchase models are shown to be less effective in Google Play.App category influences the effects of both revenue models and in-app purchase. Performing transnational family with the affordances of mobile apps : a case study of Polish mothers living in Finland
2020
Affordances provided by digital technologies and mobile apps (WhatsApp, Skype, Messenger) help in maintaining familyhood. These mobile apps enable the creation of in-app family groups. They also afford image sharing, which is used for phatic purposes. Digital connectivity provides the illusions of togetherness and belonging, and allows for performing family in a transnational context (emotional transnationalism). However, it also generates the feelings of guilt through infrequent communication. In the auto-driven visual elicitation interviews, the study looks at family constellations and technologically mediated communication from the perspective of five Polish mothers living in Finland. Extending customer relationship management. From empowering firms to empowering customers
2013

This provides a good basis for critically analysing the current status of both CRM theory and practice. Design/methodology/approach – The paper reviews CRM literature published 2003-2011. Based on the literature review, it introduces a conceptual framework of the changing role of customer d…
Sustainable tourist development in Italian holiday destinations
2008
This paper argues that tourism, will become a major activity in a modern welfare state, which will have serious consequences for environmental sustainability. This issue calls for an assessment of the pros and cons of the ecological efficiency of tourism. We propose an overall efficiency indicator that comprises both a sustainable tourism index and an economic efficiency index. Based on a data set for Italian provinces and using Activity Analysis, a quantitative assessment of the relative position of Italian tourist destination areas is made from the perspective of sustainable tourism.
