Literature data pertaining to the decision to allow a waiver of in vivo bioequiv- alence testing for the approval of immediate-release (IR) solid oral dosage forms containing efavirenz as the only active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) are reviewed. Because of lack of conclusive data about efavirenz's permeability and its failure to comply with the "high solu- bility" criteria according to the Biopharmaceutics Classification System (BCS), the API can be classified as BCS Class II/IV. The demonstration of bioequivalence (BE) is an essential requirement for ensuring that patients receive a product that performs as indicated by the label. The BE standard for a particular product is set by its innovator, and this standard must subsequently be matched by generic drug products. The Biopharmaceutics Classification System (BCS) sets a scientific basis for an improved BE standard for immediate-release solid oral dosage forms. In this paper, we discuss BE and the BCS, as well as the issues that are currently relevant to BE as a pharmaceutical product standard.

El objetivo de este trabajo ha sido conocer el pensamiento de los alumnos sobre la Educacion Fisica y sus profesores. Para ello, 788 estudiantes de Educacion Secundaria Obligatoria (337 alumnos y 451 alumnas) han respondido a un cuestionario abierto en el que se les preguntaba que es lo que mas y lo que menos les gusta de EF, como se imaginan a su profesor/a ideal de EF, y las tres caracteristicas mas importantes que deberia tener su profesor o profesora de EF.
