Using HYDRUS-2D model to assess the optimal drip lateral depth for eggplant crop in a sandy loam soil of central Tunisia

The main objective of the work is to assess the optimal drip lateral depth for Eggplant crop (Solanum melongena L.) irrigated with a drip system in a sandy loam soil by means of field measurements and simulation models. Initially, the performance of Hydrus-2D was assessed based on the comparison between simulated soil water contents (SWC) and the corresponding measured in two plots, in which laterals with co-extruded emitters were laid on the soil surface (drip irrigation, DI-0) and at 20 cm depth (subsurface drip irrigation, SDI-20), respectively. Il saggio prende in esame la figura di Omar Hassan, artista classe 1987, figlio di padre egiziano e madre italiana nato e cresciuto a Milano, che rivolge il proprio interesse per il linguaggio della Street Art per poi consolidare la propria formazione all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera con Alberto Garutti. Il contributo ne inquadra la figura nel panorama dell'arte del secondo dopoguerra e dell'Action Painting con particolare riferimento alla produzione più recente e alle opere site specific realizzate ad hoc per la Sala Duca Montalto del Palazzo dei Normanni a Palermo.

Background Biological databases and repositories are incrementing in diversity and complexity over the years. This rapid expansion of current and new sources of biological knowledge raises serious problems of data accessibility and integration. To handle the growing necessity of unification, CellBase was created as an integrative solution. CellBase provides a centralized NoSQL database containing biological information from different and heterogeneous sources. Legal Liability of Professional Engineers: The Case of a Fire at a Shopping Center

In this paper, the authors discuss the legal liabilities of the professional engineer as both the engineer of record of a project and the construction site manager. In particular, this paper analyzes the case of a fire at an end-user MV/LV substation of a shopping center in Italy, occurred a few years after maintenance works on the electrical installation. The professional engineer who had designed and overseen the construction of the substation was accused of criminal negligence. Installation of floating wind turbines at the offshore site is a challenging task. A significant part of the time efficiency and costs are related to the installation methods which are sensitive to weather conditions. This study investigates a large floating dock concept, which can be used to shield a floating wind turbine during installation of tower, nacelle, and rotor onto a spar foundation.
