The service oriented computing paradigm plays an increasingly important role in structuring complex systems. Application design and development approaches are witnessing a shift from traditional models towards a more dynamic service oriented model promoting reuse and adaptability. The analytical signal is a complex representation of a time domain signal: the real part is the time domain signal itself, while the imaginary part is its Hilbert transform. It has been observed that damage, even at a very low level, yields clearly detectable variations of analytical signal quantities such as phase and instantaneous frequency. Abstract This paper examines the effects of attitudes toward Turkey's entry into the European Union on vote choice in the 2005 federal election in Germany. Building on prior research, the paper contrasts the elitist and the policy voting view. The evidence shows that citizens' opinions about Turkey's accession to the European Union do not merely reflect group-memberships and political predispositions. Starting from sociologist Anne-Marie Green?s idea of ?common space?, and from Hans Robert Hauss? reception theory, the improvisation workshop is thought to be a way of transforming the practices of reception, in order to modify the nature of the culture of listening of each listener. Four research axis are, then, proposed, from the validation of the personal experience of the participants to the reception of the instant?s surprise as a factor of education, including the research of communicational tools specific to reception of music, capable of captivating the listeners with the original aspects of the unknown musical territories.
Vaporization and autoignition characteristics of ethanol and 1-propanol droplets : influence of water

Detailed investigation of the vaporization of an isolated of ethanol and 1-propanol droplet was carried out in this experimental study. The experimental set-up consists of a heated chamber with a cross quartz fibers configuration as droplet support. An alcohol droplet is located at the intersection of the cross quartz fibre with a controlled initial diameter (300-600µm). Ambient temperature is varied from 298 to 973K at atmospheric pressure. The quasi-steady theory has been used to compare and to explain all experimental results. Observation and Processing of Instantaneous Frequency Variations During Bearing Tests

Laboratory experiments have been performed on medium sized roller bearings with two levels of artificial damage. Recordings of long time series from accelerometers at a wide range of different radial loads and rotation speeds has been performed. Probably due to non-perfect performance of the control systems for the rotational speed or frequency, significant fluctuations were observed at all rotation speeds. The highest relative variation was observed at the lowest rotational speeds. These variations were recorded using a rotary encoder, which allows order tracking of the vibration signal.
