Trap-assisted spectroscopy with REXTRAP

International audience; As one of the fashionable techniques for nuclear spectroscopy experiments, the beam manipulation in gas-filled Penning traps permits the accurate measurement of some of the ground state properties of exotic nuclides. It was recently applied using REXTRAP for the measurement of the half-life of 38Ca, one of the 0+ → 0+ β-decaying nuclide of interest for the determination of the Ft value for super-allowed transitions, and the test of the unitarity of the CKM matrix. The experimental setup and the original method of beam purification adopted for this measurement is presented.

Endonasal sinus surgery requires a great amount of training before it can be adequately performed. The complicated anatomy involved, the proximity of relevant structures, and the variability of the anatomy due to inborn or iatrogenic variations make several complications possible. Today, cadaver dissections are the "gold standard" for surgical training. Of those archaeological objects requiring very accurate measurements (<1 mm), ancient mosaics comprise some of the most important. Danas Ščerbinas kvalifikācijas darba tēma ir „Perkusīvie instrumenti 5-6 gadīgu bērnu ritma izjūtas attīstīšanai pirmsskolā”. Tajā aplūkota aktuāla problēma – perkusīvo instrumentu nepietiekama izmantošana pirmsskolas izglītības iestādēs, kā arī nepietiekamais ritma izjūtas attīstības līmenis minētajā vecumposmā – 5-6 gadi. Darbā tika veikta teorētiskas literatūras analīze par ritma izjūtu, par perkusīviem instrumentiem, par perkusīvo instrumentu izmantošanas iespējām pirmsskolas izglītības iestādē un tika sniegts 5-6 gadīgo bērnu raksturojums.
