Amperometric Biosensor and Front-End Electronics for Remote Glucose Monitoring by Crosslinked PEDOT-Glucose Oxidase

Focusing on the interplay between interface chemistry, electrochemistry, and integrated electronics, we show a novel low-cost and flexible biosensing platform for continuous glucose monitoring. The amperometric biosensing system features a planar three-electrode structure on a plastic substrate, and a wireless near-field communication-powered electronic system performing sensor analog front-end, A/D conversion, digital control, and display tasks. Skargowość skazanych jako nowa forma "walki z systemem"

Artykuł oscyluje wokół zagadnienia skargowości skazanych, głównie tej w wymiarze instrumentalnym. Stosując sondaż diagnostyczny, opracowano trzy narzędzia badawcze. Dzięki temu zgromadzono informacje na temat przedmiotu skarg oraz przyczyn ich tworzenia. Celem badań było wypracowanie optymalnych działań mogących przyczynić się do minimalizacji zjawiska tworzenia skarg o charakterze instrumentalnym. W ostatniej części zawarto egzemplifikacje dla praktyki penitencjarnej, wskazując kierunki pracy ze skazanymi, zwłaszcza tworzącymi skargi pozbawione wartości merytorycznej. Ponadto przedłożono prawidłowości mogące przyczynić się do wskazania niespójności przepisów prawa z praktyką penitencjarną.

This study is limited to aspects related to the nature of the applied fiscal policy. An analysis with theoretical elements contributes to the understanding of the characteristics of procyclical, countercyclical and acyclic fiscal policies. Moreover, a description of them based on the fiscal instruments used (government revenues and expenditures) facilitates the capture of the main features and implications on the economies of emerging countries compared to developed countries. Returns To Education During And After The Economic Crisis: Evidence From Latvia 2006–2012

We employ EU-SILC micro data for Latvia to study how returns to education changed during the economic crisis of 2008–2009 and afterwards. We found that returns to education increased significantly during the crisis and decreased slightly during the subsequent economic recovery. The counter-cyclical effect was evident in nearly all population groups. After the crisis, education became more associated than before with a longer working week and a higher employment probability. espanolLos objetivos: analizar las propiedades psicometricas de una escala breve de ansiedad ante la evaluacion academica y comprobar si hay diferencias entre los alumnos que cursan una materia del area de metodologia o de otras areas. La muestra esta formada por 404 alumnos de Psicologia (M = 21.03 anos, DT = 5.45). El 56.4% reciben formacion en metodologia y el 43.6% en otras areas. Los resultados senalan que los estudiantes que reciben formacion en materias metodologicas informan de un mayor grado de ansiedad ante la evaluacion y perciben que tienen menor autoeficacia.
