Stressinhallintakeinot ja työn imu : päiväkirjatutkimus tiimityöstä

Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin stressinhallintakeinojen ja työn imun välisiä yhteyksiä. Tutkimuksen erityisenä tavoitteena oli selvittää ovatko stressinhallintakeinot ja työn imun kokemukset jaettuja tiimityöntekijöiden välillä. Tutkimus toteutettiin päiväkirjatutkimuksena, johon osallistui 33 rakennusalan työntekijää viiden peräkkäisen työpäivän ajan. Tutkimuksen tilastollisina analyysimenetelminä käytettiin yksisuuntaista varianssianalyysia, Pearsonin korrelaatiokertoimia sekä monitasoregressioanalyysiä. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin erään yrityksen vuosikertomuksen tekstin rakennetta. Tutkimuksen teoreettisena pohjana toimi M. A. K Hallidayn kehittämä systeemi- eli systeemis-funktionaalinen kielioppi, jonka määrittelemät eri prosessityypit toimivat lähemmän tarkastelun kohteena. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, mitä prosessityyppejä tekstistä on löydettävissä ja kuinka usein nämä esiintyvät aineistossa. Saatuja tuloksia verrattiin erääseen aikaisemmin ilmestyneeseen samankaltaiseen tutkimukseen. Aineistona tutkimuksessa käytettiin tekstiotteita ranskalaisen Arkema-nimisen yrityksen vuoden 2010 vuosikertomuksesta, tarkemmin sen ympäristöä käsittelevästä osiosta.

Does corn market uncertainty impact the US ethanol prices?

The growing interest in biofuel as a green energy source has intensified the linkages between corn and ethanol markets, especially in the United States that represents the largest producing and exporting country for ethanol in the world. In this study, we examine the effect of corn market uncertainty on the price changes of US ethanol applying a set of GARCH-jump models. We find that the US ethanol price changes react positively to the corn market volatility shocks after controlling for the effect of oil price uncertainty.
