However, audiovisual products are difficult to study because they integrate a lot of complex communication and artistic elements. Lessons learned on student engagement from the nature of pervasive socio‐digital interests and related network participation of adolescents

The rise of modern socio-digital technologies has fundamentally changed the everyday environments in which young people communicate with each other and cultivate interests. To gain a more sophisticated understanding of this phenomenon, this study provides in-depth, qualitative insights into adolescents’ experiences of their socio-digital developmental ecologies. The 15 interview participants were recruited based on a previously conducted questionnaire. Investment is the sum of the purchases on newly produced capital, changes in business inventories referred to as inventory investment, and the purchases of new residential housing. The work covered by this study aims to identify the model that presents, in the best possible way, the method of investment’s calculation and to determine the factors of influence. In the first part, the investment is analyzed as a linear function dependent on the interest rate; and the second part implies a new model for determining long-term investments, but also an identification of the measures that would lead to increased investments.

Abstract In the absence of a mandatory salt iodisation programme, two nationwide cross-sectional cluster surveys revealed persisting iodine deficiency among Latvian schoolchildren during the spring season and a noteworthy iodine deficiency in pregnant women in Latvia; these deficiencies warrant intervention. The consequences of mild-to-moderate iodine deficiency during pregnancy and lactation can adversely affect foetal brain development. Data from a Latvian population survey revealed the consumption of approximately 100 μg of iodine per day through foods and iodised salt. The interest rate risk is the most important risk that derives from the OTC transactions, taking into consideration both the notional amounts and the market value of the financial derivatives that relies on interest rate contracts. Open positions on interest rate derivatives represents more than 75% of the OTC market. In the European banking market interest rate swaps prices are strongly dependent on the interbank interest rates. In this paper we want to analyze the behavior of the Eoniaswap indices and their impact on the interest rate swaps between banks.

The proposal of an adaptation of the National Accounting System (PGC) for the Cooperative sector has seen fruition in a Project, currently at the draft stage, published by the Instituto de Contabilidad y Auditoría de Cuantas (ICAC) and disseminated in several forums with the aim of: being spread in co-operative circles, giving sufficient time to take on the changes implied in adopting the project, debating the new aspects and proposing alternative solutions, among others. This paper aims to provide a critical commentary for some of the more controversial aspects the new regulations raise.
