RELATIONSHIP’S SATISFACTION CONNECTION WITH THE MOTIVATION OF FORGIVENESS

The purpose of the study was to investigate whether there is a relationship betweenthe motivation of forgiveness and satisfaction with the partnership in spouses. The study was attended by 300 married respondents: 180 women and 120 men (M = 39.29, SD = 10.7). Groups were matched according to the following criteria: age (19-60 years); married. The Role of a Supportive Interpersonal Environment and Education-Related Goal Motivation During the Transition Beyond Upper Secondary Education

This longitudinal study investigated the role of parents and peers as well as of education-related goal motivation during educational transitioning in late adolescence. The sample consisted of 1520 upper secondary education students attending either academic or vocational upper secondary school in Finland. They were surveyed three times: (1) in the first year of their upper secondary education, (2) in the second year of their upper secondary education, and (3) two years later. Social distancing has limited the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), but also changed communication patterns. However, studies of how mental health in older adults relates to the usage of different modes of interpersonal communication are sparse. The aim of this study was to analyze how COVID-19-related changes in the frequencies of using different modes of communication (digital or in-person) have influenced mental health in older adults from 27 countries. Factors influencing adjustment to remote work: Employees’ initial responses to the covid-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 crisis has disrupted when, where, and how employees work. Drawing on a sample of 5452 Finnish employees, this study explores the factors associated with employees’ abrupt adjustment to remote work. Approaching Europe: The merchant networks between Finland and Europe during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries

Finland offers a good opportunity to study how international trade contacts were established and how they developed. Having been denied trading rights, several Finnish ports were granted direct access to foreign trade in 1765. The hypothesis is that the old business relations with Stockholm traders, the role played by the shipmaster and the government-based consulate networks were crucial in the development of the merchant network abroad during the eighteenth century.
