Expression of HIP/PAP mRNA in Human Hepatoma Cell Lines

The present study attempts to shed more light on the role of hepatocarcinoma-intestine-pancreas/pancreatic associated protein (HIP/PAP) in hepatoma cells. We initially examined, by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), the HIP/PAP transcripts present in human hepatoma cell lines of different origins and with different grades of differentiation and genetic profiles. We also used DNA sequencing analysis to investigate the structure of the HIP/PAP gene. Yhdysvallat itsenäistyi vuosina 1775–1783 käydyssä sodassa. Monet aikalaiset käsitteellistivät nämä tapahtumat sisällissodaksi, sillä sodan molemmat osapuolet kuuluivat Britti-imperiumiin, sekä jakoivat saman kielellisen, poliittisen ja kulttuurillisen taustan. Tästä johtuen monia samoja poliittisia ja politisoituja käsitteitä jouduttiin uudelleenmäärittämään tehtäessä eroa sodan osapuolten välille. Analysoin pro gradu -työssäni vertailevasti Amerikan vallankumouksen osapuolten, lojalistien ja patrioottien, poliittisia diskursseja. Tässä tutkielmassa tutkitaan Yhdysvaltoihin sijoittavien rahastojen suoriutumista aika- välillä 01/2005-01/2016. Aineisto koostuu rahastoista, joita joko hallinnoidaan Yhdys- valloissa tai Pohjoismaissa, ja joiden sijoitukset kohdistuvat Yhdysvaltoihin. Aineisto koostuu 10:n pohjoismaalaisen rahaston ja 16:n amerikkalaisen rahaston kuukausi- tuotoista ja rahastot ovat kasvurahastoja. Tässä työssä asetetaan vastakkain amerikkalaisten salkunhoitajien ja pohjoismaalaisten salkunhoitajien osaaminen. Autopha‐ gy and apoptosis are crucial processes during embryo development of Invertebrates and Vertebrates organisms, as they are necessary for the formation of a new organism, start‐ ing from a fertilized egg. Fertilization triggers cell remodeling from each gamete to a toti‐ potent zygote. During embryogenesis, the cells undergo various processes, thus allowing the transformation of the embryo into an adult organism. This Master’s thesis of general history focuses on the social interaction between ethnic Finns and Native Americans in North America c. 1850—1950. The research aims to cover the nature of the interaction phenomenon in question as well as the social statuses of both groups and the attitudes expressed by them concerning the other. The analysis is based on biographical source material supported by documents, interviews and academic literature emphasizing both the Finns and the Native Americans who were in contact with each other during the aforementioned era. International audience; The reaction of nonsubstituted alkali metal cyclopentadienides with haloboranes leads to similar to 90:10 mixtures of isomeric diene products that can be deprotonated to give simple boryl cyclopentadienides. We extended this transformation to the sterically hindered lithium tert-butylcyclopentadienide 1 using FBMe(s)2 (Mes = 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl) and ClBCy2 as electrophiles. The boryl group is selectively introduced in the remote position to minimize steric congestion. The new boryl dienes are obtained as mixtures of isomers, and subsequent deprotonation with MeLi or LiHMDS affords the lithium 1,3-disubstituted cyclopentadienides Sa,b in yields over 95%. Tämä tutkimus tarkastelee USA:n ja valittujen Kaakkois-Aasian kehittyvien maiden markkinoita; Philippiinejä, Indonesiaa, Malesiaa ja Thaimaata. Tutkimus antaa tuloksia sekä USA:n että indonesialaisen sijoittajan näkökulmasta. Merkittävä rooli tutkimuksessa on ajassa muuttuvan korrelaation havainnollistamisessa osakeindeksien välillä käyttäen apuna Englen vuonna 2002 esittelemää DCC-GARCH mallia. Tutkimuksessa käytetty data on vuodesta 1988 vuoteen 2015 saakka.
