My research investigates the proposal of the education’s philosopher Aldo Capitini about the nonviolent teaching in the Italian Second Post-War infant and primary school and focuses on the nonviolent educational practices which has been carried out. Especially, Idana Pescioli, a teacher of the primary and infant school, has been the one to experiment new educational methodologies and a nonviolent approach in the schools of children. I am using a historical-hermeneutic method and various sources: literary sources, documents in public and private archives, ministerial school regulations, internet sites, direct sources. This work deals with valency, a key syntactic notion whose chemistry-inspired label was established by Lucien Tesnière (1959), one of the most well-known contributors to the Prague Linguistic Circle. We will concentrate on two questions: (a) to what extent does valency play a role in Second Language Learning (SLL)?; and (b) what role should the use of valency play in language teaching practices? This paper will provide answers to these questions and propose reasons for motivating the use of valency in SLL.

The Decameroncino is an emblematic text, in the literary workshop of Capuana, of a constant research theoretical on the form of modern novella. The relationship exhibited with Boccaccio's work allows the writer of Mineo to institute a wise game of filming and overturning, woven with the double thread of counterpoint ironic. The organic system of the Decameron is remodeled in the sense of fragmentation. Through a fantastic restless and paradoxical, the narrative suspends criteria of deterministic realism to allude to complexity of the true and of the writing that figures it.

Il saggio evidenzia gli esiti fortemente innovativi di un romanzo secentesco (La Orestilla, 1652): soprattutto il volto contraddittorio del principale personaggio maschile è visto come un preannuncio di nuove tipologie che nel romanzo moderno avrebbero attentato all'unità interiore del soggetto, illuminando sofferte scissioni e conflittualità nelle vita profonda della psiche.
