The aim of this paper is to realize a comparative analysis of the possibilities offered using estimation techniques, balances, and filtering techniques such as the Kalman filter (KF) and the extended Kalman filter (EKF), to obtain indirect information about the alcoholic fermentation process during winemaking. When is Green Really Green? A Latvian Case Study on Updating of Food Supply Green Public Procurement

Abstract Green public procurement (GPP) is an important tool and is used to reduce adverse environmental impacts caused by food production. To have a more detailed look at the application of GPP in Latvia, the authors screened 97 public tenders for supply of food products, documenting the choice of the green criteria. Only 15 % of the screened tender documents corresponded to the national GPP requirements. XVIII Jornadas de Paleontología, 2002 Preliminary data on litho stratigraphy and biostratigraphy of the Belverde borehole (http://www. dct.Jct.unl.pt/ SondagemISondagem/colunalindex_col.html) is presented. The borehole attained 619,77 m of depth, crossing 130 m of Plio-Pleistocene and 460 m of Miocene dep osits. Main lithologies are fine sands , marl s and biocalcarenites.
