The managers and organizational leaders should be the first to recognize and perceive the work they do as being important. In this article, we examine the current development of the study of the nature, causes, and consequences of meaningful work, and we offer ideas of research opportunities regarding the interface of organizational perspectives on performing and providing meaningful work.

Intensiivistä kielenopetusta vaihto-opiskelijoille

Vaihto-opiskelijat tulevat Suomeen opiskelemaan usein sen takia että suomalaiset osaavat niin hyvin englantia. Suomalaisiin tutustuminen koetaan kuitenkin erittäin haastavaksi. Yhteyksien puuttuminen vaihto-opiskelijoiden ja suomalaisten välillä onkin yksi suurimmista epäkohdista Suomessa opiskelemisessa. Miten englanninkielisen opintotarjonnan perässä tulevat vaihto-opiskelijat saataisiin lähemmäksi suomalaista kulttuuria ja yhteiskuntaa? Yksi ratkaisu löytyy kielikursseista.
