Con el aumento del nivel de vida y la mejora de los sistemas de salud no es raro alcanzar edades avanzadas. En la actualidad hay 12.880 personas centenarias en España, de las cuales 558 son supercentenarias (mayores de 110 años) según los datos del INE (2017). La población centenaria en nuestro país supone el 0,04% de la población total. La mayoría de las personas centenarias son mujeres (76,84%) y las supercentenarias también (68,64%). La feminización de la longevidad en España es una realidad. Las proyecciones de población 2016-2066 estiman un crecimiento de las personas mayores de 65 años en España para los próximos años. Azimuthal anisotropy of charged jet production in √sNN = 2.76 TeV Pb–Pb collisions

We present measurements of the azimuthal dependence of charged jet production in central and semicentral √sNN = 2.76 TeV Pb–Pb collisions with respect to the second harmonic event plane, quantified as vch jet 2 . Jet finding is performed employing the anti-kT algorithm with a resolution parameter R = 0.2 using charged tracks from the ALICE tracking system. The contribution of the azimuthal anisotropy of the underlying event is taken into account event-by-event. The remaining (statistical) region-to-region fluctuations are removed on an ensemble basis by unfolding the jet spectra for different event plane orientations independently. Charged jet cross sections and properties in proton-proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV

The differential charged jet cross sections, jet fragmentation distributions, and jet shapes are measured in minimum bias proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energy ffiffi s p ¼ 7 TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed from charged particle momenta in the midrapidity region using the sequential recombination kT and anti-kT as well as the SISCone jet finding algorithms with several resolution parameters in the range R ¼ 0.2–0.6. Differential jet production cross sections measured with the three jet finders are in agreement in the transverse momentum (pT) interval 20 < pjet;ch T < 100 GeV=c. Measurement of charged jet production cross sections and nuclear modification in p–Pb collisions at √sNN=5.02 TeV

Charged jet production cross sections in p–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV measured with the ALICE detector at the LHC are presented. Using the anti-kT algorithm, jets have been reconstructed in the central rapidity region from charged particles with resolution parameters R = 0.2 and R = 0.4. The reconstructed jets have been corrected for detector effects and the underlying event background. To calculate the nuclear modification factor, RpPb, of charged jets in p–Pb collisions, a pp reference was constructed by scaling previously measured charged jet spectra at √s = 7 TeV. Luminometric sub-nanoliter droplet-to-droplet array (LUMDA) and its application to drug screening by phase I metabolism enzymes.

Here we show the fabrication of the Luminometric Sub-nanoliter Droplet-to-droplet Array (LUMDA chip) by inkjet printing. The chip is easy to be implemented and allows for a multiplexed multi-step biochemical assay in sub-nanoliter liquid spots. This concept is here applied to the integral membrane enzyme CYP3A4, i.e. the most relevant enzymatic target for phase I drug metabolism, and to some structurally-related inhibitors.

Para ello, se analiza la narrativa literaria mitológica de Eco, narrativa concebida como la metáfora por excelencia de la condición codependiente. El análisis literario hará emerger ciertas características familiares que se sitúan teóricamente en el origen del proceso adictivo codependiente, corroborando así hipótesis de trabajo.

The purpose of this study was to i) examine reliability and construct validity of the pictorial scale of Perceived Movement Skill Competence (PMSC) aligned to the third version of the Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD-3) in a sample of Spanish children; and to ii) analyse the validity of the PMSC and children’s perceived motor competence (MC) according to gender.
