El document forma part dels materials docents programats mitjançant l'ajut del Servei de Política Lingüística de la Universitat de València El curs gira entorn de la filosofia medieval, encara que resulta problemàtic parlar de filosofia en singular, de l’Edat Mitjana com a període temporal i fins i tot de la connexió entre tots dos termes. The course revolves around medieval philosophy, although it is problematic to speak of philosophy in the singular, of the Middle Ages as a time period and even of the connection between the two terms.

Franz Rosenzweig belongs to a group of philosophers who have never crossed the threshold of a wider popularity. This does not change the fact that his philosophical thought is significant. Article aims to aprximate the key issues which make the specifics of his philosophy. These include, above all, a new concept of experience, developed in opposition to the narrower interpretations of Kant and British empiricists. Absolute empiricism, as he Rosenzweig describes his philosophy, it is possible to und erstand only through taking into account the categories of time and the category the Other.
