In international education studies, the different-language test versions need to be equally difficult to read and answer for the test to be valid. To ensure comparability, several quality control procedures have been developed. Among these, surprisingly little attention has been paid to judgmental reviews and their ability to identify language-related sources of bias. What drives increases in hindsight impressions after the reception of biased media content?

Prior research has shown that reading biased media content (e.g., Wikipedia articles) can increase recipients' hindsight bias. It remained unclear, however, which features of the biased texts led to such an increase. We examined this question in a longitudinal experimental study (N = 190). Specifically, we tested whether repeated exposure to already known information (H₁), a more coherent presentation of the information (H₂), or the presentation of novel information (H₃) affected readers' hindsight impressions of likelihood, inevitability, and foreseeability. Riebuma un publiskuma ietekme uz morāles spriedumiem un morāles pamatiem

Maģistra darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai riebums un publiskums ietekmē morāles spriedumus un vai riebums ietekmē morāles pamata Svētums izteiktību. Pētījumā piedalījās 184 dažādu specialitāšu studenti. Pētījumā tika izmantots emociju stimula materiāls ar riebumu inducējošiem stāstiem, publiskuma stimula materiāls, morāles spriedumu novērtējuma skala un Morāles intuitīvo pamatu aptauja (Moral Foundations Questionnaire: 30-Item Full version-MFQ 30; Graham, Haidt & Nosek, 2008). Rezultāti norāda, ka riebuma un publiskuma mijiedarbība paaugstina morāles spriedumus.

Według jednego z nich „uchwały Sądu Najwyższego są orzeczeniami”. Drugie stanowisko przyjmuje, iż „uchwały Sądu Najwyższego stanowią odrębną grupę orzeczeń, nie są jednak orzeczeniami sądu, które dotyczą przedmiotu procesu, ponieważ nie rozstrzygają wprost o jego przedmiocie”. Passing judgements on other peoples behaviour is an eschatological consequence as the same will be done by God after mans death. If people imitate Gods charity (mercy) in the relationship to other people they can accept it that God will treat them charitable. The verb Kptnc has a charity (mercy) aspect in this relation. Charity (mercy) may be defined as mans priority in this ethical behaviour.
Need for closure moderates the break in the message effect

Abstract Cutting the message into smaller portions is a common practice in the media. Typically such messages consist of a headline followed by a story elaboration. In a series of studies Dolinski and Kofta (2001) have shown that such a break in the message increases the effect of the information provided in the headline over that of a story which actually contained information inconsistent with that headline. A possible explanation of this effect, based on the concept of the need for cognitive closure, is presented in the article. The experiment shows the break-in-the-message effect is found mainly for participants with high need for closure but not for those with low such need.
