The aim of this systematic review was to describe the rationale for the use of tocilizumab for the treatment of COVID-19 and to summarize the available evidence regarding its efficacy and safety. Adolescentes y drogas : su relación con la delincuencia

Esta investigación describe la relación con las drogas en una muestra de 286 Adolescentes en Conflicto con la Ley de la ciudad de Valencia (España). Tiene por objeto analizar la relación entre trayectoria delictiva y consumo de drogas. Los resultados informan que, a mayor incidencia delictiva, mayor dependencia. En cuanto a patrones de consumo por tipo de sustancia, el cannabis se asocia a trayectorias delictivas iniciales, y la cocaína, a trayectorias consolidadas. Abstract We describe the first cDNA sequence encoding a juvenile hormone-specific epoxide hydrolase from an insect. A full-length cDNA clone revealed a 462-amino-acid open reading frame encoding an amino acid sequence with 44% identity and 64% similarity to human microsomal epoxide hydrolase. All residues in the catalytic triad (residues Asp 227 -His 428 -Asp 350 in the M. sexta protein) were present, as was the conserved Trp 154 corresponding to the oxyanion hole. The hemolymph juvenile hormone binding protein (JHBP) from the early fifth instar larvae of Heliothis virescens (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae) has been purified, and three cDNA clones for this protein have been isolated from a fat body cDNA library constructed in bacteriophage λZAP XR. The deduced amino acid sequence of the full-length clone predicts a mature protein consisting of 224 residues, a molecular mass of 24 976 Da, and a p/ of 5.29. A cDNA clone encoding a larval-pupal cuticular protein, named TMLPCP-22, has been isolated by screening a library in expression vector with a monoclonal antibody made against pupal cuticular proteins of Tenebrio molitor. Northern-blot and in situ hybridization analyses showed that the expression of TMLPCP-22 is regulated in a stage-specific and tissue-specific manner; the transcript was present during the secretion of preecdysial larval and pupal cuticles and was restricted to epidermal cells. Abstract Clinical case The case of a 21-year-old male with a history of left proptosis and diplopia of two weeks of onset is presented. The MRI showed an ethmoid-orbital vascular lesion with anterior skull base invasion and orbital extension. Biopsy of the ethmoid confirmed fibrovascular tissue, which supported the diagnosis of angiofibroma. Discussion It is a benign neoplasm with local characteristics of malignancy due to its ability to invade adjacent areas. In this case, the debut presented with manifestations of orbital extension. A broad and multidisciplinary approach is needed in order to improve prognosis.
