Yli puolet suomalaisista liikkuu terveytensä kannalta riittämättömästi. Keski-ikäiset miehet ovat yksi vähiten liikkuvista väestöryhmistä. Kunnossa kaiken ikää -ohjelman SuomiMies seikkailee -kampanja alkoi vuonna 2007, ja sen tavoitteena oli kannustaa keski-ikäisiä miehiä liikkuman enemmän ja syömään terveellisemmin. Kampanja sisälsi liikunta- ja kokkauskursseja, informaatiopitoisen nettisivun, esitteitä sekä 18 Suomen kaupungissa kiertäneen rekkakiertueen. Kiertue sisälsi päivän mittaisia tapahtumia ympäri maata, joiden aikana ihmiset suorittivat terveystestejä, kuuntelivat maalaislääkärin ohjeita ja näkivät humoristista ohjelmaa. The focus of this work is the transient modelling of the DC-arc voltage on a Hybrid Switch (a mechanical switch in parallel with a static switch) of a key protection component called Fast Discharge Unit (FDU) in the Divertor Tokamak Test (DTT). The DTT facility is an experimental tokamak in advanced design and realization phase, which will be built in the ENEA Research Centre in Frascati (Italy). The FDU allows the safe discharge of the Toroidal Field (TF) superconducting magnets when a quench is detected or a failure occurs in the power supply or in the cryogenic system. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādas sugas, cik bieži un daudz dabiskos apstākļos barojas ar meža cūku līķiem. Dzīvniekus fiksēja ar divām Spypoint 8MP Game Camera with Wireless Photo Trans up to 250 Feet un sešām Ltl Acorn 6210 MC automātiskajām dzīvnieku fotokamerām divos parauglaukumos – mežā ar kokiem aizklātā vietā un atklātā vietā meža ielokā. Pētījums veikts sadarbībā ar Vides risinājumu institūtu Cēsu novada Vaives pagastā. Darbā dati analizēti laika posmā no 2016. gada augusta līdz 2017. gada martam. Studiedirektøren ved Universitetet i Agder (UiA) bevilget i juni 2007 midler til et samarbeidsprosjekt mellom Fakultet for helse- og idrettsfag og Fakultet for teknologi og realfag. Samarbeidsprosjektet hadde til hensikt å se på muligheter for å redusere antall stryk ved eksamen i medikamentregning. Det blir tatt opp ca 240 studenter i bachelorprogrammet i sykepleie ved UiA og undervisningen foregår på to virksomhetssteder: Arendal og Kristiansand. Strykprosenten har stor sett variert mellom 30 – 60 %. Mining industry is expanding in Finland and it is expected to become a forerunner in taking environmental issues into account in its processes. Mines often lower the water quality of their surrounding waters and this may lead to salinization and eutrophication for instance. Salinization may be due to dissolved ions in the wastewater, like sulphate and sodium, and may cause the artificial stratification of a lake. Sulphate can also prevent the natural circulation of iron in the sediments, which favors the release of phosphorus and could lead to eutrophication.
