Run-time scalable NoC for FPGA based virtualized IPs

2017

The integration of virtualized FPGA-based hardware accelerators in a cloud computing is progressing from time to time. As the FPGA has limited resources, the dynamic partial reconfiguration capability of the FPGA is considered to share resources among different virtualized IPs during runtime. On the other hand, the NoC is a promising solution for communication among virtualized FPGA-based IPs. However, not all the virtualized regions of the FPGA will be active all the time. When there is no demand for virtualized IPs, the virtualized regions are loaded with blank bitstreams to save power. However, keeping active the idle components of the NoC connecting with the idle virtualized regions is …

On the N1-H and N3-H Bond Dissociation in Uracil by Low Energy Electrons: A CASSCF/CASPT2 Study.

2015

The dissociative electron-attachment (DEA) phenomena at the N1-H and N3-H bonds observed experimentally at low energies (<3 eV) in uracil are studied with the CASSCF/CASPT2 methodology. Two valence-bound π(-) and two dissociative σ(-) states of the uracil anionic species, together with the ground state of the neutral molecule, are proven to contribute to the shapes appearing in the experimental DEA cross sections. Conical intersections (CI) between the π(-) and σ(-) are established as the structures which activate the DEA processes. The N1-H and N3-H DEA mechanisms in uracil are described, and experimental observations are interpreted on the basis of two factors: (1) the relative energy of …

Les enjeux de la sécurité des objets connectés et applications de santé

2016

International audience; The challenges of security of connected objects and health applicationsThe market for connected objects and health applications is booming and is expected to be several billion euros in revenue in the coming years. Their development will have a similar impact to what we experienced with the development of internet earlier this century but even more it should disrupt the organization of our health system, profoundly change the management of care and revolutionize prevention, but it could also call into question medical confidentiality and protection of personal data. This article analyses the societal implications of OCS, the need for a dual medical and ethical evalua…

Enhanced NiO Dispersion on a High Surface Area Pillared Heterostructure Covered by Niobium Leads to Optimal Behaviour in the Oxidative Dehydrogenatio…

2020

[EN] A Nb-containing siliceous porous clay heterostructure (PCH) with Nb contents from 0 to 30 wt %) was prepared from a bentonite and used as support in the preparation of supported NiO catalysts with NiO loading from 15 to 80 wt %. Supports and NiO-containing catalysts were characterised by several physicochemical techniques and tested in the oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) of ethane. The characterisation studies on Nb-containing supports showed the presence of well-anchored Nb(5+)species without the formation of Nb(2)O(5)crystals. High dispersion of nickel oxide with low crystallinity was observed for the Nb-containing PCH supports. In addition, when NiO is supported on these Nb-containi…

Mixed phenoxo and azido bridged dinuclear nickel(II) and copper(II) compounds with N,N,O-donor schiff bases: Synthesis, structure, DNA binding, DFT a…

2019

Abstract Two dinuclear complexes, µ-phenoxo, µ1,1-azido bridged [Ni2(L)2(µ1,1-N3)(N3)(CH3OH)] (1) and µ-phenoxo, µ1,1-azido bridged [Cu2(L)2(µ1,1-N3)(N3)] (2) bearing HL as a blocking co-ligand produced by the 1:1 condensation of N-methyl 1,3 propanediamine with o-vanillin have been synthesized and successfully characterized by elemental analyses, IR and electronic spectroscopy, single-crystal X-ray diffraction for 1 and DFT optimization for 2. X-ray crystal structure discloses that the asymmetric unit of 1 consists of two nickel(II) ions exhibiting a six-coordinate octahedral coordination with µ-phenoxo, µ1,1-azido bridging dimeric structure. The DFT optimization of 2 reveals the five-coor…

A polar/π model of interactions explains face-to-face stacked quinoid rings: a case study of the crystal of potassium hydrogen chloranilate dihydrate

2015

International audience; The nature of interactions between face-to-face staggered stacked quinoid rings with pi-systems, observed with a short inter-ring centroid. centroid distance, is analyzed by experimental and theoretical methods. Charge density studies based on X-ray diffraction and DFT calculations, complemented by impedance spectroscopy, were employed to define the electronic and structural characteristics of the quinoid rings responsible for their interactions within the crystal packing. The crystal packing is mainly stabilized by strong electrostatic interactions between the K+ cation and the hydrogen chloranilate anion. The proximity and orientation of the stacked quinoid rings i…

Dicopper(II) pyrazolenophanes: Ligand effects on their structures and magnetic properties

2016

Abstract The use of simple pyrazolate anions and related polychelating acyclic or macrocyclic pyrazolate derivatives as bridging ligands, and occasionally additional blocking ligands, has led to the stereospecific Cu II -mediated self-assembly of both homo- and heteroleptic di-μ-pyrazolatodicopper(II) complexes of the metallacyclophane type, so-called dicopper(II) pyrazolenophanes. Besides their unique molecular conformation features and binding abilities toward both neutral molecules and charged anionic species, which have illustrated the putative role of weak intramolecular π–π stacking, hydrogen bonding, and coordinative interactions in the self-assembling process, dicopper(II) pyrazolen…

A comprehensive in situ and remote sensing data set from the Arctic CLoud Observations Using airborne measurements during polar Day (ACLOUD) campaign

2019

The Arctic CLoud Observations Using airborne measurements during polar Day (ACLOUD) campaign was carried out north-west of Svalbard (Norway) between 23 May and 6 June 2017. The objective of ACLOUD was to study Arctic boundary layer and mid-level clouds and their role in Arctic amplification. Two research aircraft (Polar 5 and 6) jointly performed 22 research flights over the transition zone between open ocean and closed sea ice. Both aircraft were equipped with identical instrumentation for measurements of basic meteorological parameters, as well as for turbulent and radiative energy fluxes. In addition, on Polar 5 active and passive remote sensing instruments were installed, while Polar 6 …
