Ernesto Foldat's letter to friends in Latvia, in which he writes about his state of health, Venezuela's poor economic situation, dissatisfaction with the new president, a bachelor's thesis dedicated to Foldat written by Olga Dubrovska at Daugavpils Pedagogical University, about recognitions from the Central University of Venezuela, supervision of doctoral dissertations. Typed on one page, with a signature in the lower right corner. Stored in the Museum of the University of Latvia Botanical and Mycological collections.

Elżbieta z domu Branicka była od 1732 roku trzecią żoną Jana Tarły, wojewody lubelskiego, a od 1736 roku wojewody sandomierskiego. Korespondencja pomiędzy małżonkami wskazuje na dobre relacje, oparte o wzajemna troskę i zaufania. No to ostatnie Elżbieta w pełni zasługiwała za swoja postawę w latach 1733 - 1736 przetrwać trudne czasy wojny. W rzeczywistości stawiała czoła realnym, być może wyolbrzymionym zagrożeniom. Uwypukliło to takie cechy jej charakteru, jak zdecydowanie, zaradność, i odporność na sytuacje kryzysowe. Elżbieta z Branickich Tarłowa potrafiła dbać o siebie, męża i majątek rodzinny.

Background and Objective. A constant gap has appeared in infant mortality among the 3 Baltic States - Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania – since the restoration of independence in 1991. The aim of the study was to compare infant mortality rates in all the 3 Baltic countries and examine some of the macro- and socioeconomic factors associated with infant mortality. Ievads. Andersona-Fābri slimība ir reta iedzimta lizosomālās uzkrāšanās slimība, ko izraisa mutācijas GLA gēnā un traucēta enzīmā α-galaktozidāzes A darbība. Līdz 2015. gadam Latvijā vēl nebija atklāts neviens pacients ar Fābri slimības diagnozi, bet šobrīd jau ir atrasti vairāk nekā 20 cilvēki ar GLA gēna mutācijām. Darba mērķi. Apkopot un analizēt klīnisko informāciju par Latvijā esošajiem pacientiem ar laboratoriski apstiprinātām mutācijām GLA gēnā, veidot šo datu statistisku pārskatu, kā arī raksturot noteiktu mutāciju radītās Fābri slimības fenotipiskās izpausmes un atrast iespējamas fenotipa-genotipa korelācijas.
