Humora stilu, subjektīvās labklājības un apmierinātības ar partnerattiecībām savstarpējās saistības

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot saistības starp humora stiliem, apmierinātību ar partnerattiecībām un subjektīvo labklājību, un izpētīt dzimumatšķirības. Respondenti (N=111) pildīja Humora stilu aptauju (Humor Styles Questionnaire), Apmierinātības ar partnerattiecībām aptauju (Comprehensive Marital Satisfaction Scale) un Apmierinātības ar dzīvi skalu (Satisfaction With Life Scale). Rezultāti atklāja statistiski nozīmīgas, pozitīvas saistības starp biedrisko humora stilu un pašuzmundrinošo humora stilu, agresīvo humora stilu un sevi noliedzošo humora stilu, subjektīvo labklājību un apmierinātību ar partnerattiecībām. Labvēlīgā un korektīvā humora stila saistība ar personības iezīmēm

Šī pētījuma mērķis ir pārbaudīt BenCor aptaujas validitāti saistībā ar personības iezīmēm un citiem humora stiliem. Respondenti (N = 160) aizpildīja trīs aptaujas: BenCor – aptauju, kas mēra labvēlīgo un korektīvo humora stilu, Humora stilu aptauju (HSQ) un Latvijas Personības aptauju (LPA-v3). Pētījuma rezultāti saistībā ar labvēlīgo humora stilu saskan ar citu pētījumu secinājumiem un apstiprina to kā labvēlīgi virzītu humora izteiksmes veidu. Saistībā ar korektīvo humora stilu un personības iezīmēm līdz šim šis ir pirmreizējs pētījums, un iegūtie dati apliecina korektīvā humora validitāti pret citiem humora stiliem un ar tiem saistītām personības iezīmēm.
Co-reductive fabrication of carbon nanodots with high quantum yield for bioimaging of bacteria

A simple and straightforward synthetic approach for carbon nanodots (C-dots) is proposed. The strategy is based on a one-step hydrothermal chemical reduction with thiourea and urea, leading to high quantum yield C-dots. The obtained C-dots are well-dispersed with a uniform size and a graphite-like structure. A synergistic reduction mechanism was investigated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The findings show that using both thiourea and urea during the one-pot synthesis enhances the luminescence of the generated C-dots. Acute mesenteric ischemia is a rare but extremely severe complication of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The present review aims to document the clinical, laboratory, and imaging findings, management, and outcomes of acute intestinal ischemia in COVID-19 patients. A comprehensive search was performed on PubMed and Web of Science with the terms “COVID-19” and “bowel ischemia” OR “intestinal ischemia” OR “mesenteric ischemia” OR “mesenteric thrombosis”. After duplication removal, a total of 36 articles were included, reporting data on a total of 89 patients, 63 being hospitalized at the moment of onset. Tablettien käyttöä on kokeiltu runsaasti niin Suomessa kuin muissakin maissa, mutta tutkimustietoa tablettien hyödyistä ja vaikutuksista opetuskäytössä on vielä niukasti. Kokeilujen perusteella tablettien käytettävyys koetaan hyväksi ja niiden nähdään parantavana opiskelumotivaatiota. Identity politics of the promotional videos of the European Heritage Label

During past decades, the EU has responded to a variety of ‘crises’ by promoting a common cultural heritage to advance European identity and belonging. This article analyses identity politics conducted in the framework of the EU’s flagship heritage action, the European Heritage Label. I borrow from ‘banal nationalism’ to scrutinise the usage of ‘we’ and ‘us’ in the promotional videos of the European Heritage Label sites as subject positions offered for identification in this heritage discourse.
