Analiza dokumentów i jego osobistych notatek pokazuje nam osobę bardzo pracowitego biskupa, który niewątpliwie należał do grona najaktywniejszych polskich ojców soborowych. Jego solidne wykształcenie, znajomość języków obcych, głęboka pobożność oraz gorliwa i roztropna działalność pasterska zjednały mu wielki szacunek w rzymskich komisjach, a także w gronie polskiego Episkopatu. Nowadays, a significant part of cities is tackling the problems with post-mining areas. This manuscript is an original research which shows possibilities of their reclamation. The aim of the article is to present the proposal of developing the closed limestone quarry and creating a botanical garden. The proposed spatial solutions allow for creating a new, tourist and recreation space, maintaining the natural heritage. Perceived threat and prejudice towards immigrants in Finland : A study among early, middle, and late Finnish adolescents

Using integrated threat theory, this study examined how perceived threat, or fear of immigrants, manifests among early, middle, and late Finnish adolescents, and the relationship between perceived threat and prejudice among early, middle, and late adolescents. The sample consisted of 795 Finnish adolescents between 11 and 19 years of age. Realistic and symbolic threats were the most perceived threats and were more prevalent among late adolescents. There was a positive relationship between prejudice and realistic threat, and between prejudice and symbolic threat, but a negative relationship between prejudice and negative stereotyping, and this relationship remained relatively stable from ear…

Bieżąca polityka regionalna ma za zadanie kształtować spójność terytorialną, a jedną z jej koncepcji jest funkcjonowanie miejskich obszarów funkcjonalnych. Spójność terytorialna rozumiana jest różnorako. W niniejszym opracowaniu rozpatrywano ją jako: rozwój endogeniczny i policentryczny, wyrównywanie dysproporcji w poziomie rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego, tworzenie powiązań sieciowych oraz zapewnienie dostępności do usług (głównie wiedzy i infrastruktury).
