Although professional agency has become an increasingly crucial issue in work organizations, investigators lack a brief instrument to measure it. This paper introduces a short measure to explore professional agency at work. Our aim was to shorten the original 17-item Professional Agency Measure, while also exploring its usability for cross-validating questionnaire datasets, and investigating the relationship between professional agency and work engagement. Fue generado a partir de un modelo conceptual preexistente: dicho modelo se sometió al juicio de expertos quienes seleccionaron las competencias de mayor impacto, construyéndose un perfil de competencias. Returns To Education During And After The Economic Crisis: Evidence From Latvia 2006–2012

We employ EU-SILC micro data for Latvia to study how returns to education changed during the economic crisis of 2008–2009 and afterwards. We found that returns to education increased significantly during the crisis and decreased slightly during the subsequent economic recovery. The counter-cyclical effect was evident in nearly all population groups. After the crisis, education became more associated than before with a longer working week and a higher employment probability. Children's Voices and their Impact-Case Study in Romania

Abstract This research evaluates if the voices of children in Romanian preschools are heard and proposes new educational policy in order to train practitioners for preschools. The purpose of the study is to involve practitioners and parents in the Early Years in an experimental training program called: “Voices of children in Romania”. We discovered that according to the traditional attitudes of Romanian parents and practitioners, children's voices are rarely taken into consideration. After the new training program was put into practice in preschools and homes, teachers and parents started to give more attention to children's voices and children's wellbeing was improved.

Study engagement and burnout profiles among Finnish higher education students

A person-oriented approach was applied to identify profiles of study engagement and burnout (i.e., exhaustion, cynicism, inadequacy) in higher education in a large and representative sample of 12,394 higher education students at different phases of their studies in universities and polytechnics in Finland. Four profiles were identified: Engaged (44%), engaged-exhausted (30%) inefficacious (19%) and burned-out (7%). The engaged students had the most positive engagement accompanied with the least burnout symptoms compared to other groups. Se ha desarrollado un método de obtención de exosomas, a partir de cultivos de levaduras del género Candida, que ha permitido obtener microvesículas de elevada homogeneidad y pureza. Mediante microscopía electrónica de transmisión y técnicas de detección de nanopartículas (NTA), se ha podido constatar la presencia de microvesículas de tamaños comprendidos entre 100 y 200 nm. La caracterización de proteínas llevada a cabo por técnicas de Western blot, ha puesto de manifiesto la elevada pureza de los exosomas obtenidos, no existiendo contaminación celular en las preparaciones, tal y como lo indican el resultado positivo frente a calnexina en el lisado celular y negativo en las vesículas extra…

Do niedawna głównym źródłem informacji o doświadczeniach mistycznych św. siostry Faustyny Kowalskiej był jej Dzienniczek. W 2013 roku wydano drukiem Wspomnienia o św. Siostrze Faustynie Kowalskiej. W książce tej znajdujemy wypowiedzi kapłanów, sióstr zakonnych i świeckich, którzy osobiście znali Siostrę i byli świadkami łask nadzwyczajnych udzielonych jej przez Boga, a cud kolbiański wydaje się nie mieć sobie równych.
