Odontogenic calcificant cystic tumor : a report of two clinical cases

Odontogenic Calcificant Cystic Tumor (OCCT) is an infrequent injury. It arises from odontogenic epithelial rests present in the maxilla, jaw or gum. Gorlin and col. described the OCCT for first time as an own pathological entity in 1962. Clinically, the OCCT represents 1% of the odontogenic injuries. It is possible to be found from the first decade to the eighth decade. It affects in same proportion the maxilla and the jaw, being the most common in the dented zones, with greater incidence in the first molar area. Pierwsze doniesienia o witaminie D pojawiły się w pierwszej połowie XX w. Jej odkrycie wywarło istotny wpływ na prewencję i leczenie krzywicy, a także umożliwiło poznanie i udokumentowanie roli w regulacji równowagi gospodarki wapniowo-fosforanowej. In this article, the synthesis by means of the spray pyrolysis method, of the CaMoO4 and rare-earth cation (RE3+)-doped CaMoO4:xRE3+ (RE3+ = Eu3+, Tb3+, and Tm3+; and x = 1, 2, and 4% mol) compounds, is presented. The as-synthesized samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction, Rietveld refinement, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Raman spectroscopy, and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. Calcium mediated polyelectrolyte adsorption on like-charged surfaces.

International audience; Monte Carlo simulations within the primitive model of calcium-mediated adsorption of linear and comb polyelectrolytes onto like-charged surfaces are described, focusing on the effect of calcium and polyion concentrations as well as on the ion pairing between polymers and calcium ions. We use a combination of Monte Carlo simulations and experimental data from titration and calcium binding to quantify the ion pairing. The polymer adsorption is shown to occur as a result of surface overcharging by Ca2+ and ion pairing between charged monomers and Ca2+. Introduzione Le tendinopatie della cuffia dei rotatori sono le più comuni cause di dolore alla spalla, con una prevalenza nella popolazione generale stimata tra il 5 e il 39%. Tra le tendinopatie, un ruolo importante è occupato dalla tendinopatia calcifica. La frequenza della tendinopatia calcifica varia, sulla base degli studi presenti sinora in letteratura, tra il 7.5 e il 22% di tutti i casi di tendinopatia.(1,2,3). Literatūras analīzē izskatīta un analizēta pieejamā literatūra par ar vilcienu kustību saistīto risku pārvaldību, preventīvajiem pasākumiem, darba vides riskiem kravas vilcienu konduktoru darba vidē. Otrajā daļā aprakstītas pētījumā lietotās metodes. Trešajā daļā ir veikta darba vides risku novērtēšanas, nelaimes gadījumu un darbinieku aptaujas analīze.
