Edu-social Algorithm: educare con i social network a scuola. Un modello operativo per il Mobile Learning
2023

Actual and Potential Pedagogical Use of Tablets in Schools
2013
This study reviews the potential of tablet technology for teaching and learning. In autumn 2012, we conducted a focused survey comprising quantitative and qualitative questions with Finnish teachers (N = 171, from 54 schools). We focused on perceived pedagogical opportunities and the actualized pedagogical potential of tablets at schools. The survey results indicate that the actual usefulness of tablets in schools was significantly less than what teachers perceived as the pedagogical potential. However, the results demonstrate the positive impact these devices are having on teaching and learning, as well as prompting changes in pedagogical perspectives. Teachers stated that tablets can dive…
"Classflow" programmatūra 7.klases skolēnu iesaistīšanās angļu valodas kā pirmās svešvalodas mācību stundās palielināšanai
2018

Designing New learning Environments for Music - Implementing the MobiKid experience
2009
In 2006-2008 a mobile software application MobiKid for children aged 3-6 was developed to allow children to sing, record and listen to the songs independently at home. They could even forward the recorded songs to be downloaded from a server by their teacher and relatives. With not yet completed user interface (UI) features the program offered children a motivating context for singing and musical creativity. The child-centered MobiKid UI was developed collaboratively by different experts of music education and software engineering. MobiKid pilot study was expected to reflect the preliminary requirements for child-centered software and usability features for further development among informa…
Designing for virtual mobility: Potentials and caveats
2019
This paper reflects on the joint pilot development and implementation of an international master level online course in Educational Design by three universities from different European countries. The pilot targeted curriculum internationalization and provision of international learning experiences to students with less mobility opportunities through online learning and use of technology. The key focus was on connecting students from different countries by collaborative learning and working on an authentic task in the professional domain of their study - educational media design - via a joint platform and digital media. In small international groups, students collaboratively developed mobile…
