Ventilation Problems in Heritage Buildings

The control of indoor conditions in heritage buildings, such as castles or museums, is of paramount importance for the proper preservation of the artworks kept in. As heritage buildings are often not equipped with HVAC systems, it is necessary to provide proper interventions and measures with the aim of monitoring and controlling indoor physical parameters. Moreover, another requirement should be achieved in such buildings, that is the maintenance of the safety conditions in presence of visiting people. This work reports the results of a survey carried on a hall of a historical palace, aimed to assess an useful correlation between CO2 concentration and occupancy levels.

Abstract The binding of the [(pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) (2,2′-bipyridyl)(aquo)rhodium(III)] complex [Cp*RhIII(bpy)H2O]2+, to l -α-dipalmitoylphosphatidyl choline (DPPC) vesicles has been estimated by studying the kinetics of the electron transfer reaction between the rhodium(III) complex and formiate ions. Kinetic measurements carried out under anaerobic conditions in absence and presence of DPPC show that the total reaction is composed of two steps. The rate of the first reaction increases with the phospholipid concentration, while that of the second process is independent of the concentration of DPPC. Structure and dynamics in liquid bismuth and Bin clusters: A density functional study

Density functional/molecular dynamics simulations with more than 500 atoms have been performed on liquid bismuth at 573, 773, 923, and 1023 K and on neutral Bi clusters with up to 14 atoms. There are similar structural patterns (coordination numbers, bond angles, and ring patterns) in the liquid and the clusters, with significant differences from the rhombohedral crystalline form. The productive use of material resources can be expected to support successful peer work. Darba gaitā autore analizē Platona priekštatu par pilnībā transcendentu un cilvēkam nepieejamu augstāko būtni, šīs idejas attīstību tālākā platonisma tradīcijā un veidu, kādā tā pati ideja ir tikusi transformēta agrīnajā kristietībā, konkrētāk – Aleksandrijas Klementa teoloģijā. Darba uzdevums ir izpētīt darba samaksu un tās elementus, vienlīdzīgas darba samaksas regulējumu un problēmjautājumus, kāpēc vēljoprojām ir nevienlīdzīga darba samaksa.
