Praktyka pielgrzymowania występuje we wszystkich prawie religiach. Ludzie pielgrzymują do miejsc świętych, aby spełniać tam określone akty pobożności i pokuty. W Polsce najważniejszym centrum pielgrzymkowym jest Jasna Góra, którą rokrocznie odwiedza 4-5 mln pątników. Od 1979 roku wyrusza do Częstochowy piesza pielgrzymka z Halemby – jednej z dzielnic Rudy Śląskiej. Każdego roku bierze w niej udział kilkaset osób (młodzież, średnie pokolenie, rodzice z dziećmi, niepełnosprawni na wózkach inwalidzkich), które idą pieszo w obie strony. On global solutions of the Maxwell-Dirac equations

We prove, for the Maxwell-Dirac equations in 1+3 dimensions, that modified wave operators exist on a domain of small entire test functions of exponential type and that the Cauchy problem, inR+×R3, has a unique solution for each initial condition (att=0) which is in the image of the wave operator. The modification of the wave operator, which eliminates infrared divergences, is given by approximate solutions of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation, for a relativistic electron in an electromagnetic potential. The modified wave operator linearizes the Maxwell-Dirac equations to their linear part.

Pētījuma mērķis bija noteikt augsnes mikrobiālo biomasu un augsnes sīkposmkāju kopienu dažādu zālāju augsnēs Rīgā un izvērtēt iespējas tos izmantot kā pilsētvides augsnes veselības un kvalitātes rādītājus. Summary This experiment was a part of a research on the soil community in anthropogenous birch stands in Finland. In that study it was found that communities of Collembola are similar in birch stands of different origin (cultivated field or spruce forest), while the communities of Oribatida are essentially different. When compared to original spruce forest, the communities of both groups are different. Cultivation eliminates the populations of most microarthropod species, that have to disperse after reforestation from the surrounding areas.
