The essay addresses the topic of technological evolution in the payment system, focusing on the figure of contactless payment cards and the issue of unauthorized use by the holder. Having defined the discipline of payment instruments and the liability regime of payment service providers under the PSD2, the contribution examines the decision of the ECJ in the Deniz Bank case. It makes some critical remarks with respect to the methodological approach of the Court, marked by an unjustified interpretative formalism and li le inclined to an exegesis based on the parameter of efficiency, according to the models offered by Economic Analysis of Law.

Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādi spēļošanas elementi var palīdzēt attīstīt skolēnu pašvadītas mācīšanās prasmes 5. klases angļu valodas stundās, jo pašvadītas mācīšanās prasmes ir nozīmīgas skolēnu turpmākajai dzīvei. Turklāt iepriekšējā pētījumā autore atklāja, ka spēļošana ir efektīvs līdzeklis, lai saglabātu skolēnu interesi un motivāciju. Kā pētījuma metode tika izvēlēta gadījuma izpēte. Datu vākšanas metodes ietvēra anketu, autores pašnovērtējumu un angļu valodas stundu refleksijas, kā arī skolēnu atsauksmes. Up to now, studies in the literature report conflicting data in terms of both prevalence and aetiology. Steady states and nonlinear buckling of cable-suspended beam systems

This paper deals with the equilibria of an elastically-coupled cable-suspended beam system, where the beam is assumed to be extensible and subject to a compressive axial load. When no vertical load is applied, necessary and sufficient conditions in order to have nontrivial solutions are established, and their explicit closed-form expressions are found. In particular, the stationary solutions are shown to exhibit at most two non-vanishing Fourier modes and the critical values of the axial-load parameter which produce their pitchfork bifurcation (buckling) are established.
