Purpose: To report midterm outcomes after urgent endovascular repair of ruptured pararenal or thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms using multiple periscope and chimney grafts to preserve renovisceral branch perfusion and facilitate aneurysm exclusion. People suffering from idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (IEI-EMF) experience numerous non-specific symptoms that they attribute to EMF. The cause of this condition remains vague and evidence shows that psychological rather than bioelectromagnetic mechanisms are at work. On a space mission in March 1992 a set of experiments were performed aimed at clarifying the interaction between visual, proprioceptive and vestibular inputs to the equilibrium system. Using the VESTA goggle facility from the European Space Agency we investigated the effect of pure neck receptor stimulation on eye position as measured by the flash afterimage method and on perception of a head-fixed luminous line in space. PATIENT SELECTION FOR LESS UROLOGICAL SURGERY

Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) should theoretically improve perioperative results and cosmesis minimizing skin incision. LESS surgery is technically demanding and the result of any procedure depends on the surgeon skill and experience, on the condition to be treated and finally on careful patient selection. As cosmesis is the main advantage over standard laparoscopy, LESS is particularly indicated in young patients with low BMI. While at the beginning LESS surgery was limited to demolitive procedures, increasing experience lead to widen indications to reconstructive and more challenging conditions. New technologies and robotics may increase LESS indications in the next future.

The aim of the present study was to examine associations between dietary habits, substance use, and mental distress among adults. This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2019 using an online questionnaire and included 28,047 adults (≥18 years) from Southern Norway. Multivariable logistic regression models stratified by gender were used to examine the associations between different lifestyle behaviors and mental distress. The internal calcar septum is a ridge of cortical bone protruding from the inner cortical wall of the proximal femur into the medullary canal. It extends from the lesser trochanter into the femoral neck and narrows the femoral cavity in its dorsal third. This region is essential for THR stability, but the degree of contact between the septum and standard THR implants has never been studied.
