TIIVISTELMÄ Vähäsantanen, M. 2016. Lonkan tekonivelleikkauksesta kuntoutuminen oppimisena. Terveystieteiden laitos, Jyväskylän yliopisto, fysioterapian pro gradu –tutkielma, 58 s., 3 liitesivua. Suomessa tehdään vuosittain noin 7500 lonkan tekonivelleikkausta ja väestön ikääntyessä leikkausten määrä tulee todennäköisesti lisääntymään. Samaan aikaa hoitoajat ovat lyhentyneet, mikä lisää tarvetta fysioterapiaohjauksen kehittämiseen. Tekonivelleikkauksesta kuntoutuminen voidaan nähdä yksilöllisenä kasvu- ja oppimisprosessina, mutta aihetta on aiemmin tutkittu vähän fysioterapian alueella.
