Selective MicroRNA-Offset RNA Expression in Human Embryonic Stem Cells

Small RNA molecules, including microRNAs (miRNAs), play critical roles in regulating pluri-potency, proliferation and differentiation of embryonic stem cells. miRNA-offset RNAs (moRNAs) are similar in length to miRNAs, align to miRNA precursor (pre-miRNA) loci and are therefore believed to derive from processing of the pre-miRNA hairpin sequence. Recent next generation sequencing (NGS) studies have reported the presence of moRNAs in human neurons and cancer cells and in several tissues in mouse, including pluripotent stem cells. Two German authors, who wrote their main books in the 80th, are introduced here. Jürgen Habermas is a philosopher of the School of Francfort (Marxist) and Jürgen Moltmann a Protestant theologian. Their thoughts have obviously great differences, but they have something in common : they both consider an expression (ritual or conducted through a media) as an aspect in a complete anthropology. And a “public space”, as a ritual, have to be taken seriously, because they are the spaces of our main choices in life.

Abstract The aim of this study was to determine whether different areas of knowledge presented different behaviour with regard to the number of references cited per journal document or if, conversely, they shared the same reference density practices. This paper analyzes the institutional contribution of institutions to the scientific production in the area of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences through the affiliation that appears in the articles of 16 Spanish journals between 1999 and 2005. The most productive institutions and the most active authors are identified, as well as the area of origin and participating institutional sectors. Institutional plurality for each journal is also studied by means of a quotient between the number of authors and institutions. The 1786 papers analyzed engage 2280 institutions. Introduction: This study aimed to examine the healthy behaviors in undergraduate students of Physical Education (PE) from Ukraine and Poland in comparison to the control sample of students of other faculties. Material and methods: The group of 564 university students (67% of males), ranging in age from 18 to 41 years (M = 22.05, SD = 2.49), was surveyed using a written form of the Health Behavior Inventory (HBI).
