”Siinäpä vasta loistoemäntä!” : perheenemännyys 1950-luvun Kotiliesi-lehtien mainosteksteissä

Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma tarkastelee perheenemännyyden diskursseja sekä niihin liittyviä arvoja ja normeja 1950-luvun Kotiliesi-lehtien perheenemännille suunnatuissa mainoksissa. Tutkielman tavoitteena on ymmärtää viisikymmenluvun mainosdiskurssien konstruoimaa perheenemännyyttä ilmiönä. Lähihistoriaamme perheenemännyys on kuulunut olennaisena osana. Tästä huolimatta perheenemännyyden tutkimus on jäänyt marginaaliseksi Suomessa. Kahdesta tutkimuskysymyksestä ensimmäinen kartoitti perheenemännille suunnattujen mainosten konstruoimia perheenemännyyden diskursseja. Given the fact that a large number of radiological examinations using iodine-based contrast media (ICM) are performed in everyday practice, clinicians should be aware of potential ICM-induced thyroid dysfunction (TD). ICM can induce hyperthyroidism (Hyper) or hypothyroidism (Hypo) due to supraphysiological concentrations of iodine in the contrast solution. The prevalence of ICM-induced TD varies from 1 to 15%. ICM-induced Hyper is predominantly found in regions with iodine deficiency and in patients with underlying nodular goiter or latent Graves’ disease. Bacterial communities in water samples and eel slime were investigated by fluorescence in situ hybridization of whole bacterial cells in an eel intensive culture system over 1 year. A newly developed probe, matching 27 Vibrio spp., and a specific probe for Vibrio vulnificus were used. Phylogenetic probes complementary to selected regions of the 16S and 23S ribosomal RNA revealed that Proteobacteria of the alpha and beta subclass were predominant in water and eel slime. Members of the gamma subclass (e.g. vibrios and aeromonads) were more abundant in eel slime, although no V. vulnificus was detected.

ITALIANO: Nell’articolo si ripercorre la storia dei monasteri femminili di Santa Caterina controllato dai domenicani e Santa Chiara legato ai minori, in relazione agli ordini mendicanti, al contesto urbano, ai legami familiari. I monasteri furono fondati da famiglie del ceto cavalleresco nella prima metà del Trecento nella città di Palermo, che aveva perso centralità politica per l’assenza del re. Sulfur-free pulping has an environmental advantage over the traditional kraft process. This article describes the combustion properties of the black liquors produced from silver birch (Betula pendula) sawdust using three different cooking processes: two sulfur-free cooks (soda-anthraquinone and oxygen-alkali), and one reference kraft cook. It also considers the corresponding black liquors from an integrated forest biorefinery, in which a hot-water pretreatment of feedstock was performed prior to pulping. [EN] Blended nanofibrous scaffolds based on polycaprolactone (PCL) and gelatin (Ge) were successfully prepared. A formic/acetic acid (1:1) mixture was used to dissolve PCL/Ge blends from 100/0 to 20/80 %wt in steps of 10 %wt. The hydrolysis of the PCL diluted in the formic/acetic acid mixture was considered as a method for tailoring the surface morphology and physicochemical features of the nanofibrous PCL/Ge scaffolds as a function of the dissolution time.
