Albert Soubies et Charles Malherbe : contributions à l’histoire de l’Opéra-Comique

International audience; Cet article traite de plusieurs ouvrages écrits sur l’Opéra-Comique au tournant des xixe et xxe siècles. Il s’arrête en particulier sur les livres d’Arthur Pougin, Albert Soubies et Charles Malherbe. Les préfaces des ouvrages sont analysées pour comprendre les intentions historiques qui animent ces auteurs. Sur quelles sources travaillent-ils ? Quelles sont les places respectives de la compilation d’autres ouvrages et de l’analyse du document original ? Une attention particulière est portée à l’Almanach des spectacles édité par Soubies à partir de 1874, et à son utilisation.

The PhD presents a combined approach to improving individual car efficiency. An optimal observer, the Extended Kalman Filter, is used to create an efficiency model for the car. Particular attention was paid to handling the asynchronous and redundant nature of the measurement data. A low-cost sensor suite developed to measure data is described. This sensor suite was installed on multiple vehicles to good success. It employsan accelerometer, gps, fuel injector timer, and Vss input to measure all the data necessary to reconstruct the car's state. Ilmakehän hiukkasmainen hiili on aerosolimuodossa esiintyvää hiiltä, joka on vapautunut ilmaan epätäydellisistä palamisprosesseista. Hiukkasmaisia hiiliyhdisteitä emittoituu erilaisista päästölähteistä, joista globaalisti tarkasteltuna suurin osa on ihmisperäisiä. Tarkastelemme miten alkuainemuotoisen mustan hiilen hiukkasemissiot absorboivat lämpösäteilyä maapallolla ja millainen vaikutus niillä on ilmastoon ja säteilytasapainoon. Suoran lämpöabsorption lisäksi mustan hiilen laskeuma tummentaa lumi- ja jääpeitteitä, mikä vähentää epäsuorasti albedon muutoksen kautta takaisin avaruuteen heijastuvan säteilyn määrää. University-wide, top-down curriculum reform at a Finnish university: perceptions of the academic staff

This study examines academic staff’s perceptions of a university-wide, top-down curriculum reform in terms of the management of the reform, the support provided by the university’s administration, and the utilisation of the university’s guidelines. Differences between faculties are also scrutinised. The study was conducted at a multidisciplinary public research university in Finland using the survey method. The data (n = 394) consisted of academic staff’s responses to multiple-choice and open-ended questions. Abstract Purpose of Review Boreal forests provide a wide range of ecosystem services that are important to society. The boreal biome is experiencing the highest rates of warming on the planet and increasing demand for forest products. Here, we review how changes in climate and its associated extreme events (e.g., windstorms) are putting at risk the capacity of these forests to continue providing ecosystem services. En el presente trabajo de Tesis se ha llevado a cabo la síntesis de compuestos nitrogenados quirales cíclicos de estructura compleja mediante reacciones de cicloadición catalizadas por metales de transición empleando como sustratos de partida 4-aza-1,7-eninos y 5,10-diaza-1,7,13-triinos quirales que, en la mayor parte de los casos, contienen átomos de flúor o agrupaciones fluoradas en su estructura molecular. La preparación de estos compuestos se basa en la utilización de homopropargilamidas quirales como sustrato común en la estructura de todos ellos.
