In the last decades of the eighteenth century, the third act of opera seria was gradually reduced in importance and dimensions until it disappeared altogether. The article studies this process in relation to the repertoire of the San Carlo theatre in Naples from 1771 on, with special attention to the intertwining of dramaturgical choices and audience’s behavior. The examination of a large number of librettos and scores makes it possible to fix reliable chronological terms. After an isolated episode in 1780, the adfirmation of the two-act model can be traced back to the 1786-1787 season. Esiteltävässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin tukijärjestelyjen toimivuutta perusopetuksessa rehtorien (N = 335) arvioimana. Aineisto kerättiin kyselylomakkeella syksyllä 2012. Rehtoreiden arvioita tukijärjestelyjen toimivuudesta selitti eniten se, millaisia tukijärjestelyjen arvioitiin olleen ennen lakiuudistusta. Koulun osallistuminen Tehostetun ja erityisen tuen kehittämistoimintaan (KELPO-hanke) oli yhteydessä myönteisempiin arvioihin oppimissuunnitelmien käytön, osa-aikaisen erityisopetuksen, kodin kanssa tehtävän yhteistyön, oppilashuoltotyöryhmän ja opetuksen eriyttämisen toimivuudesta. Aim: The aim of this prospective four-year follow-up study was to examine how socioeconomic status (SES) and change in marital status are associated with the change in pedometer-measured physical activity (PA) in adulthood among participants in the ‘Cardiovascular Risk in Young Finns Study’. Methods: Questionnaires were completed and pedometers worn at baseline in 2007 and again at follow-up in 2011 by 1051 Finnish adults (62.3% female, aged 30–45 years in 2007). International audience; Here we describe a spontaneous mutation in the Zdhhc13 (zinc finger, DHHC domain containing 13) gene (also called Hip14l), one of 24 genes encoding palmitoyl acyltransferase (PAT) enzymes in the mouse. This mutation (Zdhhc13luc) was identified as a nonsense base substitution, which results in a premature stop codon that generates a truncated form of the ZDHHC13 protein, representing a potential loss-of-function allele. Abstract Untargeted lipidomics is a powerful tool to discover new biomarkers and to understand the physiology and pathology of lipids. The use of stable isotopes as tracers to investigate the kinetics of lipids is another tool able to supply dynamic information on lipid synthesis and catabolism. Coupling the two methodology is then very appealing in the study of lipid metabolism.
