Denna artikel grundar sig på en avhandling pro gradu (Turpiainen 2020) som behandlar undervisningsplanering i ämnet historia i svenskt språkbad i Finland. Språkbad i svenska är ett undervisningsprogram där eleverna undervisas en stor del av skolämnena på svenska som är deras andraspråk. I avhandlingen undersöktes vad lärare i språkbad beaktar vid planering av historieundervisningen på svenska i årskurser 4–6. Undersökningen fokuserade främst på språkrelaterade faktorer och visade att lärarna anser det vara viktigt att ta hänsyn till utmanande ämnesspecifikt språk i planeringen av historieundervisningen. Työn tarkoituksena oli selvittää, miten yli 60-vuotiaat saksan ja ruotsin oppijat suhtautuvat vieraan kielen puhumiseen. Kokemukseni mukaan vanhemmat kielenoppijat keskittyvät suullisen ja kommunikatiivisen kielitaidon sijasta eniten kielen kirjalliseen muotoon. Tämän lisäksi suurin osa vanhemmista kielenoppijoista on aloittanut kieliopintonsa kielioppi-käännös-menetelmän aikana, jolloin suulliseen kielitaitoon ei kiinnitetty juurikaan huomiota. Rewilding Language Education: Emergent Assemblages and Entangled Actions

Integrating concepts and techniques from ethnomethodology and sociomaterialism, this article investigates the observable material processes involving human action and place‐based contexts of language use enabled by locative media.
