H&E Multi-Laboratory Staining Variance Exploration with Machine Learning

In diagnostic histopathology, hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining is a critical process that highlights salient histological features. Staining results vary between laboratories regardless of the histopathological task, although the method does not change. This variance can impair the accuracy of algorithms and histopathologists’ time-to-insight. Investigating this variance can help calibrate stain normalization tasks to reverse this negative potential. Objective The current randomized controlled trial investigated the effectiveness of a job crafting intervention program on work engagement as the primary outcome and job crafting as the secondary outcome among Japanese employees. Methods Participants who met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to an intervention group (n = 138) or a control group (n = 143). Background: The present study aims to identify different work-family boundary management profiles among Finnish employees, and examine how these relate to conflict between work and family or their mutual enrichment. Beyond “liberals” and “conservatives”: Complexity in ideology, moral intuitions, and worldview among Swedish voters

This research investigated the congruence between the ideologies of political parties and the ideological preferences (N = 1515), moral intuitions (N = 1048), and political values and worldviews (N = 1345) of diverse samples of Swedish adults who voted or intended to vote for the parties. Logistic regression analyses yielded support for a series of hypotheses about variations in ideology beyond the left-right division.
