Food policies to prevent obesity and the main non-transmissible diseases in Spain: where there's a will there's a way

2019

L’ASSIMILAZIONE IN AMBITO SPORTIVO DELLA SOMMINISTRAZIONE OFF-LABEL AL DOPING, SPUNTI GIURIDICI ED ETICI

2015

This paper offers an analysis about the issue of off-label drugs use in Italy, focusing on the sport area and on the role of the State. In particular interconnections and divergences with anti-doping regulation will be addressed, making some reflections about the partial lack of regulation.

Characterization of palm sap harvested in Songkhla province, Southern Thailand

2010

International audience; The purpose of this study was to characterise the quality of palm sap after harvested in Songkhla province, southern Thailand. Ten palm sap samples were analyzed. The results showed differed in physical and chemical quality among samples (P<0.05). The results showed range of L*, a* and b* values between 61.49 to 87.53, 1.46 to 3.52 and 12.41 to 19.31, respectively. The turbidity was ranged from 39.56% to 79.95%. The pH value was varied from 4.19 to 5.23, while total acidity was ranged from 0.27% to 0.93%. The total soluble solids ranged from 10.80 to 17.40OBrix. Total and reducing sugars were varied in a range of 10.36% to 16.94% and 0.88% to 3.56%, respectively. The…

Comparison of 99mTc-Labeled Colloid SPECT/CT and Planar Lymphoscintigraphy in Sentinel Lymph Node Detection in Patients with Melanoma: A Meta-Analysis

2020

We compared the detection rate (DR) for sentinel lymph nodes (SLNS), the number of SLNs and the subjects with additional SLNs of single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT/CT) and planar lymphoscintigraphy (PL) in patients with melanoma. Furthermore, we evaluated the impact of SPECT/CT on surgical plans. Articles containing head-to-head comparisons between SPECT/CT and PL were searched in Pubmed/MEDLINE and Scopus. The literature search was updated until December 31st, 2019. DR was calculated on a per-patient-based analysis; the studies were pooled by their odds ratios (ORs) with a random effects model to assess the significance of difference (p < 0.05). The number of additional S…

Reliability of adapted version of Italian Label tobacco Impact Index for the adolescent: ALII

2017

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study is to assess the reliability of the Adolescent Label Impact Index (ALII) , it is an adolescent adapted version of Italian LII of the tobacco products warnings. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A sample including students aged 13-15 years was considered. The ALII is constructed by 4 items: salience, harm, quitting and forgo. The questionnaire was self-administered to study participants twice with 3 days between each administration (T1 and T2) to measure reliability. The internal consistency using Cronbach's alpha and Corrected Item-Total Correlations (CITC) and the test-retest reliability applying Pearson's correlation were computed. RESULTS: Cronbach's alpha ranges fro…

Radiolabeling of Nanoparticles and Polymers for PET Imaging

2014

Nanomedicine has become an emerging field in imaging and therapy of malignancies. Nanodimensional drug delivery systems have already been used in the clinic, as carriers for sensitive chemotherapeutics or highly toxic substances. In addition, those nanodimensional structures are further able to carry and deliver radionuclides. In the development process, non-invasive imaging by means of positron emission tomography (PET) represents an ideal tool for investigations of pharmacological profiles and to find the optimal nanodimensional architecture of the aimed-at drug delivery system. Furthermore, in a personalized therapy approach, molecular imaging modalities are essential for patient screeni…

Devianza, problemi sociali e forme di controllo

2019

Describing a network using the ‘Resource-Competences, Organizations, Value’ Business Model

2021

International audience; The network literature reveals some trouble to reconciliate the ambivalence between individual and collective goals inside a network. The purpose of this research is to develop a tool to identify key insights of a network and associated organizations. In particular, following the Resource-Competencies Organization Value (RCOV) framework, this study identifies the contributions of each organization inside a network. Knowing the responsibility of each organization in their network’s strength and tensions could help to solve those ambivalences. Applied to a network, the Demil and Lecocq‘s (2010) RCOV Business Model, could reveal key inputs of a network that each organiz…
